Hi! can anyone help me please?

I have an Alcatel One touch 918 single sim...

->I tried to root it a few days ago, and everything worked (installed superuser also)

->then i deleted some critical files and lost google playstore.

->so i decided to factory reset and that is where the problem started

->phone started to boot lop

->i flashed with sp tools but i think i used wrong files so it bricked completely (no usb charge, no going on at all)

->i then used a tutorial on a russian site, and flashed it successfully to OT 918N 2.3.6 orange pasadena with root

->phone worked but now is dual sim instead of single sim AND no service and no sim shows even when i have my working sim card inside

->i have tried the tutorials on this thread but nothing works, it always ends up bricked again until i flash with the OT 918N 2.3.6 orange

->it was originally just OT 918 2.3.6...

->can any1 help me downgrade back to OT 918 2.3.6/2.3.5 or any version that works with the sim card?

->or can any1 help fix the no sim/no service when using the dual sim OT 918N

->or just make the phone recognise the sim?

ginamet ko na ung 2.3.5 europe(kz nga gusto q maopen sim1 slot)
kinabukasan gnmet q ung OTU 2.7.0.. un ok n cp q 2.3.5 na sya

since hindi sya gumana sayo, i assumed ndi rin gumana sau yung back up na nakapost dito.. u got 3 choices:
1.try ka nlng po magsearch ky google bout your problem..
2. magpost ka sa XDA or here baka po may tumulong sayo
3. dalhin mu sa wireless center

pansin ko lang kasi pag mga Sept 2012 na ALCATEL OT 918N ayaw ma downgrade... nag kakaroon ng firmware error sa SP Flash tool like BROM 5054... kasi nga ung same phone ko na kinunan ng default DUMP ROMS ayaw din ma flash.. para ng may distinctive setting sila per phone.

haha boot logo is 2nd boot asa system~media~image dyan naka lagay un yung boot animation sa media folder iba kasi alcatel instead mag odexed sila custpack ginamit nila kaya mahirap gumawa ng custom rom kaya until now walang single flash rom sa 2.3.6 . yung kay marlyn gumawa sya ng custom cwm para maflash yung rom nya in single flash bt may kahinaan talag. sory pre la na kasi akong gantong unit pero dun sa thread ko customizing 918 andun tutorial sa boot animation at boot logo.

mga sir. need ko po ng help from all of you guys.. nawala kasi ung custom recovery ng 918n ko ang sinubukan ko lagyan ulit ng custom recovery using flash tool kaso habang ngpprocess biglang nahugot ung usb cable kaya eto nabricj ung cp ko. bgtry aq mag OTU pro error kclatest dw yung version ng alcatel ko huhuhuh pano ko mrerevive ung cp ko? help po step by step. need ko ba idowngrade before OTU? pano mgdowngrade? any suggestion po about my problem?

I am successful in reupgrading my phone to 2.3.6 via sp flash tool + nandroid back up.
ang downside is that di na ako makapag install ng custom specifically yung ICS ROM 2.3.6 ni sir mark.

sir paano mo nagawa ung sa sp flash? diba dapat patay ung phone mo then saka mo sya isasaksak after mo iclick ung "download"? kasi sa akin after ko maclick ung download then ikinabit ko na ung phone ko, after few seconds ay lalabas lang na parang nagchacharge ung phone ko at hindi nagconnect sa computer ko. kaya hindi ko mai-flash. help naman po. thanks.

P.S. Nagana po ba ung blinking led para sa phone na upgraded lang?

After mo magflash sa sp flash tool boot in to recovery mode and then restore data ka ng nandroid back up mo sa stock rom na nasa sd card mo.


sino po pwd mag reupload ng stock rom ng alcatel 918n 2.3.5 pahingi naman po.
try ko lang mag ginger blaze. nahihirapan ako sa ICS custom rom ni sir mark nagfoforce close mga apps ko. nagboboot kapag nagsuper clean un v6 charger ko.

Step 5: Close the flash tool and open it again and click scatter loading and this time select“MT6573_Android_scatter 918N” file. Click option “USB mode” and Backup-format-download-restore NVRAM. Flash the following files:

PRELOADER - preloader
DSP_BL - dsp_bl.img
UBOOT - uboot.img
BOOTING - boot.img
RECOVERY - recovery.img
SEC_RO - firmware.info
LOGO - logo.img
ANDROID - system.yaffs2.img
USRDATA - data.yaffs2.img

Click “download” and with your phone turn off connect the usb cable and flashing will start.
Be patient this will take 4 to 5min. At the end it will indicate “EBOOT ERROR10001).
Don’t be alarm were not done yet. Remove the usb and close the flash tool.

Step 6: Open the flash tool again and click scatter loading and select
“MT6573_Android_scatter 918N”. Click option “USB mode” and Backup-format-download- no action.
Flash the following files:
UBOOT - uboot.img
BOOTING - boot.img
RECOVERY - recovery.img
LOGO - logo.img

Click “download” and with your phone turn off connect the usb cable and flashing will start.
Wait till it ends indicating “Download OK”. Disconnect the usb cable.

Step 7: On your phone go to recovery by pressing vol+ and power button and do a nandroid restore.
Restore to your 2.3.6 backup wait till it end and reboot.

I will upload my nandroid 2.3.6 backup soon…good luck. :

skip step 5, after doing step 6 iilaw na yung cp mo kaso wala siyang ROM.
instead of doing a nandroid backup at step 7 install the custom ROM you want for android 2.3.6 or you can install the STOCK ROM 2.3.6 that I made please refer to the link above.

mga sir ginawa ko yung update to 236 done all the steps sa instructions all went good pero after ko restore and reboot na stuck na sia sa android logo hope you can help me guys with my problem

sir ive done all the said instruction sa pag upgrade to 2.3.6 again all went good ulit but still after ko sia irestore sa nandroid backup restored naman sia walang error but still pagreboot ko stuck na naman sa adroid logo di na sia nagboboot sa phone
