Recommended for slow connection, for Internet Cafe or for personal use.

How to Install and Import working pfsense in Virtual Box

Install Oracle Virtual Box
- download virtual box

Install Microsoft Network Adapter

- Doublecheck your settings

- first adapter must be your lan port kung saan nkasaksak ung internet/modem

- 2nd microsoft loopback adapter (windows 7: Microsoft Loopback Adapter, Windows 8: Micorsoft KMTEST Loopback Adapter)

- Follow the video above

- Then Start and wait...

- Re-Configure your Interface if required

- WAN is for em0

- LAN is for em1

- Visit one video @youtube wait until the video full buff then re-enter or revisit same video

- Do a Skybroadband Speedtest (2 or 3 times)

- If hndi pa working... Reboot or Restart Virtualbox

* Make sure n dual core and meron kau 2gb up for better pfsense performance under virtual machine

Pre-Configured Vbox file settings:
1.5gb Allocated RAM for Virtualbox and RAM cache
1TB for pfSense and Cache Disk
Dynamic and configured web cache features

Sir shaider0x0 bakit po kailangan gumagamit ng Virtual Box or VMware sa paggawa ng pfsense?? hindi po ba pwede sa fresh OS na hindi gumagamit ng VMware or Virtual Box?? pwede po ba ito sa Globe Broadband BM226i pang bahay lang Sir?

ung pfsense po kc parang OS yan like windows 7 or sabihin ntin linux based.. if papaganahin mo pfsense need mo ng dedicated cpu para sa kanya... since wala tau extra.. sa same cpu ntin sya iinstall. kaya need ntin ng virtualmachine. virtualbox is the same with vmware... have u ever heard of it? cguro familiar k nmn...

at regarding naman sa concern mo na modem khit ano pa yan khit usb broadband stick pwede. as long as ung device na isasaksak mo ay ngbibigay ng internet...
