If not, at least you've done your part.

SO WHY PEOPLE BECOME ATHEIST??--WHATEVER THE REASON IS, IT HAS TO HAPPEN. IT'S NOT A DESTINATION NOR A CHOICE. SOMEONE HAS PLACED YOU THERE AND TO PLAY THE ROLE. WE HAVE THE RESPONSIBILITY TO TAKE CARE OF OUR DECISIONS IN LIFE. IT MAY LEAD US TO EITHER GOOD OR BAD.

No, science doesn't work like that.
Science is the way or the study to know the unknown. Which means it doesn't create nor destroy something, it's just an observation.

We use our senses to observe, it has limitations that's why we create instruments and use our technology to go further.

Hundreds of years ago we thought Earth is flat and Earth is the center of the universe, but now we know that the Earth is an oblate spheroid and revolves around the sun. Imagine what we will discover in the future, maybe we will discover god, we never know.

I was a Christian before and I've read some part of the Bible, to be honest I did not finish reading it from cover to cover but I've read enough. The immorals, especially those two sisters had sex with their father and got them pregnant and how can Adam and Eve populate the world with just two of them, their son need to have sex with their mother? The mass murder in Sodom and Gomorrah. the Noah's ark, how can the kangaroo and penguin get in the ark? And why is the dinosaur doesn't exist in the Bible?

If there are evidences from the Bible that was discovered, can you give me some?

Hahahaha. Iyon na nga iyon e! Naku. Ayaw ko magdebate dito pero ito lang ang masasabi ko. Ang nagsulat ng bible ay men at ang nagtayo ng religion ay men. Majority.

Tama ka. Pero maging Deist na lang ako kaysa maging Atheist. Hinde ko kaya maging Atheist. Na realize ko lang. Kaya ko maniwala na meron God na without religion pero ang hinde ko kaya ay ang concept of God or Ideal God na pinoportray ng mga tao sa religion na tipong dictatorship ang dating ni God sa loob ng religion na kapag hinde gawin ng mga tao ang ganito at ganyan, parusa ang aabutin. There are 3 Reasons Why people becomes an Atheist:

01 Because of all the Evil around us. (Genocides, massacres seen on TV, it's a known fact.)
The person observing these events may ask, where is God?
And if there's no one to answer...he may choose atheism or agnosticism.

02 Because of Education (from High School to College)
Professors / teachers keep teaching unbiblical ideas such as "truth is relative"/ there's no "good or evil" / everything is random chance / survival of the fittest / Adam and Eve were myths / the Bible is just a literature / Evolution is true, etc..

Some students thought they are obliged to believed those to pass and graduate, and so after college. They cannot defend the Bible because they're minds were INDOCTRINATED with lies. And the result of this is choosing atheism or agnosticism.

03 Because of un-answered questions.
If God is love, why there's evil?
If God is Omniscient (knew all things before hand), how come he created Lucifer who becomes His enemy.
If God is Ominipotent, how come He cannot stop evil?

Most bible believers, tends to open the Bible, and show tons of evidences proving God. This is wrong. The Atheist will simply reject those verses, because he don't believe the bible as true. So if his questions are not debunked logically, they're mindset will be "even the christians cannot answer my questions" --- Therefore there's really no God.

2. Study your own and other religion and you will find inconsistencies in the holy scripts
3. Religion always teach to love one another and forgive, but tells to kill those who do not believe with their belief

I've realized that there is a religious trauma syndrome and its real po tipo yung experience is nakakatrauma because of religious setting. Yung beliefs na tinatanggal ang abilidad na magkaroon ng logic and reason.... may mga symptom po sila like emotional conflict, depressed, stress, anger, anxiety... tsaka ginagamitan daw po ng bible verse to justify na tama sila at yung sinasabihan is mali, yung tipo halimbawa, gusto magpayaman para hinde mamatay sa gutom then the parents is against because they believe na mapupunta siya sa hell dahil ang sasabihin is kasalanan ang pera po..... marami at yun din ang iniisip ko na bakit naging atheist. Meron itinatawag na religious trauma syndrome. Yung tipo meron conflict na sa normal everyday life kaya naging atheist. Basta meron list of symptom po siya.

I slightly disagree. Wala akong naranasang masama...Pero marunong kasi ako mag observe, so I started questioning. Isa sa tanong ko na gusto kong masagot at malinawan:

Nang nakapag asawa po siya, abusive ang husband niya. And because of authoritative religiousity na natutunan niya po na kapag inihiwalay niya po ang husband ay nagkakaroon po siya ng shame dahil una, ang turo sa kanya na if shes not virgin, shes not pure anymore, wala nagmamahal ng lalake daw sa kanya at kasalanan siya sa paningin ni God because shes not pure anymore so she must stay with her husband dahil nga yung virginity was already given to his first husband... . hanggang hinde na niya nakayanan, nakipaghiwalay na siya at naging Atheist.

Minsan nagkakaroon ng mental health problem dahil sa way of religious setting na encounter po. Example lang po siya na isa kakilala ko pero not all experience ay same.

Andoon po kase ang tinatawag na shame, emotional conflict, psychological trauma at so on po. Kase kahit ano explain ng tao para bigyan solusyon ang sitwasyon ng biktima, hinde makikinig dahil kung ano ang natutunan niya galing sa nakalakihan niya religious setting ay iyon lang tama at mabuti.

Yan yung sinasabi na tinatanggal daw ang abilidad magkaroon ng logic at reason po.

Dagdag ko po, I am not saying that all religion is evil po. Meron naman po matitino at mabubuti na hinde harmful po. Tipo meron life transformation at hinde po tipo dictator at extremely authoritative ang dating na andoon ang expectation na keyso extremely need to be perfect na perfect at extremely obedience na ang kulang na lang po maging robot po siya to go to heaven po.

Madami na kasi kalukohan sa mundo, hindi mu na alam kung ano ba talaga totoo. At kahit minsan hindi mu nagawang i try magbasa ng Bible including Book of Proverbs and Ecclesiastes. Yung gustuhin mo logical approach at feeling mo yung ay tama at base lang naman din kung ano meron ka sa understanding mo. May iba din na ayaw na maging guilty sa buhay. I'm not an Atheist but Agnostic, I guess. I believe in balance of this universe and there's no such thing as God who is the most powerful of all.
I believe na may devil, and if may devil, may counterpart sya, which is the ''God'' na sinasabi. Pero hindi ako naniniwala na mas powerful sya
kaysa sa devil.
As for my belief, both of them are using ''people's energies'' to execute their sides (the good and the bad).

I started questioning the existence of ''God'' when I read a lot of stuff and observe things na parang naglalagay ng malaking question mark
sa existence nya.
For me, yung mga nagsasamba to the point na nanghahamak na sila ng iba para lang maipagtanggol yung paniniwala/religion nila, they are actually some
sort of cult to my eyes.

I became agnostic since I realized a big flaw sa society, the bigotry, and I tried to explore things that doesn't conform with the majority or what I love to call ''brainwashing since I was a kid''.
