sa mga nagtatanong po kung ano pinagkaiba ng GB sa Froyo.. at kung dapat ba iupdate ang SGM...
sa observation ko po at sa mga nabasa ko...
froyo has more compatiible apps.. etc..
sa observation ko naman when in froyo.. i use go launcher ex and some effects.. medyo nag lalaggy siya.. while sa GB ok naman..
ive test benchmark on froyo and GB.. mas mataas ang benchmark ng GB sa froyo.. using neocore and quadrant...
sa tingin ko GB is a faster firmware than froyo.. but maybe mali rin ako... ayon lang naman to sa naging observation ko..
kung dapat ba natin upgrade ang SGM from Froyo to GB.. sa tingin ko.. its up to the users nalang kung san sila mas magiging komportable...
ung latest 2.3.4 na GB may nadagdag pa na 5 application.. ung 2.3.5 na GB havent tested yet..

Link not working. Ask ko na din ung baseband ng 2.3.5. Hindi ko kc makita sa net.
wahahaha GB na ako thru kies. 1 hour ako nag antay kinabahan ako dun ah. haha. official na gb nko sa wakas! yahoooo!
Anung baseband dre? Pede pasilip? Yan ba yung XXKPL?

(1.) ano and magadang custom rom? hanep tong cm7, natulog lang ako kagabi which 100% bat tas paggising low bat na.
(2.) bat walang android market ang cm7?
(3.) mas advisable ba na stay with stock rom kaysa mag custom rom?

Turn off your phone tapos hold mo home button+power button

patulong naman jan oh!!!!!!!sino naka CynogenMOD 7(tj_style) dito? patulong naman ako eversince nagflash ako ng CM7 hindi na ako makapaginternet using packet data... ganun ba talaga pag CM7 hindi na pde mag internet except wifi gagamitin? need help badly.. baka naman pede poh patulong naman...

Answer:
1.) Yes. pwede iflash mo since all custom roms for SGM are based sa GB OS. Take note mo yan talaga - compatibility.
2.) Yes pwede i-root. For me, download mo yun update_1.zip ni parasmi for rooting. mas madali gawin in recovery mode thru SGM (after turning off your SGM, press both Power button & Home button). You may see the instruction sa first page.
If you knew to do stuff in you SGM, Kudos to you friend!
thanks! actually naka GB ako using odin... and im using custom rom right now...and ang tanong ko poh kung naka GB ang SGM ko thru kies pede din ba iflash ung custom rom sa SGM na may official GB using ung method na nakapost sa first page? and pede din ba iroot ang SGM na my official GB with the method nakapost sa 1st page? sorry about my earlier post binasa ko ngayon and mejo misleading yung question ko.. sana ngayon hindi na.. im just wondering about the official GB kaya ako nagtatanong...

guys, patulong naman po! new SGM owner here, at i have to say napaka komplikado ng android para sakin, hehe. noob na noob pa me pagdating dito. ask ko lang, need pabang i-root muna ang unit natin bago makapag install ng apps? any tutorial po on installing sa unit natin? am still on froyo now, advisable ba na update ko sa GB? di rin pala sya plug and play pag connect ko sa PC, ung kies may problem daw e, am thinking baka sa specs ng PC ko, kaya ganun, and lastly, ano-ano po ba ang mga recommended na apps, pati mga must have nyo. sobrang dami kasi e, kakalula mga apps ng android, hehehe. thanks in advance guys!

Ask ko lang po sa mga naka update through KIES kailangan ba naka froyo bago e update kasi itong sa aking naka GB S5570XXKPK na at nag try ako mag update through KIES pero ang sabi "no updates for this device"

I suggest if your phone is under warranty, you should visit samsung center to make some upgrade sa OS since if anything goes wrong, well sila may sala so obliged talaga sila na palitan yan unit mo. While rooting/other flashing jobs, di na pwede yun sa kanila. If sa mall na mga technician, I suggest not to go through that idea.
Much better na ikaw na malaman mo pano gawin ang upgrading (flashing), rooting, etc. since lahat kami dito nagdaan din sa "noob".
Ask ako sa mga tao dito din research ako...after which I learned.
