First Time sa GYM...

mga tol kahapon pumunta ako sa cash & carry
bibili sana ako ng whey protein
napansin ako ng nagwowork dun sabi sakin mas recommended yung muscle juice kasi payat ako...
sino na po ba naka try ng muscle juice dito??
umaga at gabi ba kayo uminom nito??

naghahanap ako dito ng mga post about newbies pero ala ako mahanap sa search engine.
Anyways, gusto ko lang malaman should I go hardcore sa 1st day of Gym or hinay-hinay lang? Dapat gradual ba? pucha baka naman manibago ang katawan ko at bumigay? Everyday ba dapat yan?

Height: 5'10
Weight: 116lbs
Waist: 26"
chest: 32"
Wrist circ: 6"

I need to gain weight muna daw sabi ng mga tao sa paligid ko. Sabi ko naman kaya nga ako mag eenroll sa gym para mag gain wt at grow muscles eh.

pinag-hahandaan ko to. May nakapagsabi sakin to prepare for the gym supplements so I asked my folks abroad to send me Whey proteins. They did send Body Fortress Advancd Whey proteins (ayos ba toh?)

Ano pa ba pwede ko inumin o papakin to help me.
Any advice sa kind of workouts na dapat kung gawin???

Penge naman sample program dyan para sa first timer na patpatin. hhaha Sabi nila mas maiging whole body muna.
Totoo ba yun? ilang months ba muna ng whole body???

Ma-offend kaya 'tol ang instructor kung pakitaan ko ng sample program na galing dito?

Sir Starting strength para sa beginners it would give you a good starting strength which you need for the foundation of your strength at ito ang good starting point at ito ang basic heheheh:) eto wiki nila which is a good read

mga bro, may itatanong lang ako. magdadagdag na ba ako ng weights or add reps? puro 5 lbs. lang ako sa dumbbell. sa barbell mga 10-12.5.

I started my weight training last nov. 2011. gusto ko lang kasi magkahubog yung katawan ko, pero di gaanong malaki parang si batista:lol:. basta yung tama lang. di naman ako payat. tama lang katawan ko pero may belly fat.:p tsaka ano ring recommended niyong program para mawala ang belly fat.

YUng worry mo about getting too big is unfounded.
You will never have a body like those of pro body builder maski araw araw ka pa mag buhat. Para maging ganon ka, kailangan mo ng STEROIDS..If you're doing it the healthy NATURAL way, hindi mo aabutin yung ganun. kahit pa sabihin natin na meron kang GENES ng pro bodybuilder.
YES, kailangan mo ng magdagdag ng timbang sa binubuhat mo masasanay ang katawan mo in time, napakagaan nyan if you ask me.
para mag respond ang body mo kailangan mapilit mo yan na mag adopt, at para mag adopt yan sa stress ng pag bubuhat kailangan mo ng CONSIDERABLE amount of weight.
Re. BELLY FAT, nasa DIET yan. Eat less carbs consume more protein.
You may also want to do circuits to BURN more fats. dami sa YOU TUBE ng circuit training..pili ka n lang dun

bro hindi naman nakaka stunt ng growth ng height ang pag bubuhat bro kung gagawin ng tama ang mga exercises. this is a myth.
 
^Agree. Depende sa genes yan ng parents. At depende sa lifestyle yan, kung healthy or unhealthy ang ginagawa.

6. have you been working out before? 1st time or not?
7. anu pinaka kaya mo bigat na kaya mo buhatin sa db at barbell?

1.1 kung nagstart ka ng 5lbs last nov increase ka na mg 10 or 15lbs db
in Barbell 15-20lbs kng tolerable at masyado un magaan sa binubuhat mo mag 25 barbell ka

1.2 hindi ko mamodify yung concerns mo kung anu focus mo kasi marami ka na dapat iconsider na factors para maging tama yung workout mo.mahirap din magsabi ng program depends on your goal lam mo mas maganda may nagmonitor ng routines mo in personal.. since your a newbie in gym i do recommend you get a personal trainer or a gym buddy na makakasabay mo na magbuhat syempre with proper weight training exercise and diet modification ka.

There is no PERFECT weight training exercise bro but then it can be achieve the desire effect if you know or atleast doing it the right training for you and when you do you will be happy with the results that you want..

BUT if you cant afford personal trainer atleast know the basics from the trainer or with your gym buddy

what are your routines na nagawa na? so i could also help you in some ways..i may be a female but i know how to train men.:rofl::rofl:

1.1 bro you dont need to be in a hard core gym specifically na magstart kahit saan gym ka pumunta ok lang

WHY??

GYMs may have the same equipments or it may be different setting
still its a gym anyway..kaya ka pumunta dun kasi your goal is to gain muscles RIGHT?? it doesnt matter kung saan gym ka nadun or pumunta sa kung saan gusto mo, comfortable ka, and your interest with.

1.2 dahil first timer ka sa gym i do suggest na gradual lang huwag ung basta sabak agad sa buhat...:lol: kasi excited lang

KNOW your goals... anu ba goal mo lean type?muscle mass? body builder?

1.3ok yung whey protein mass or muscle mass for building muscles yun BUT bro if you dont modify your diet and exercise the CONS (negative): tataba ka lang dun and you will not get the lean or muscles that you want to achieve.

WHY???
kapag umiinom ka ng mga PROTEIN SUPPLEMENT
protein supplement is just a supplement to your muscles to built and adds amino acids to develop more muscles and convert the fat into muscle BUT it should be combined with PROPER weight training exercise and diet

1.4 yes its ok to do whole body workout muna para i assess yung body mo kung anu resistance or what i mean is weight na kaya mong buhatin magkakaiba kasi un kaya ng arms, back, shoulders, abs, chest.

1.5 then if on the assessment your body is adopting the routines in whole body di kailangan palagi the trainer will know kung anu level of capacity mo na BUT since you dont trust your trainer TIP ko na lang eh ganito po kung in one month sanay ka na sa routines ng whole body then
you should ISOLATE the muscle groups
and then do some COMPOUND muscles exercise.

SINCE if you dont know ISOLATION or COMPOUND exercise saka na muna un.. kasi para di ka mabigla.. kasi sasakit talga katawan mo sa first time pero kapg nasanay na after 3 days ok na tolerable na yun normal lang yun. pero kung one week or more at masakit pa rin may mali sa ginawa sau na routine or may mali ka na nagawa..

2. focus muscles you want more to enhance? pero xmpre kailangan pa rin naman ung ibang parts para proportionate.need pa rin yun.. anu ung muscles na gusto mo mas enhance?

bro kung wala k png 1 mo i suggest atleast whole body workout ka muna..do you know the basic exercise?anu na ba ngawa mo na routines? kaya m bang mag every day or every other day 4x a week..kapag everyday k i dont suggest whole body wrkout kasi ung muscles mo will be wasted meaning di ka rin magain ng muscles pwede p isolation exercise OR either every other day din para nakakapagrest ung muscles mo thats the time your muscles get repaired and built muscles.. its up to you

start it kung ilan ang capacity na kaya mong buhatin you can start it at 10lbs kng magaan na sau kasi nakapgstart ka na about 3weeks more 15lbs ka na it depends kung kapag binuhat mo ba un kaya mo isustain ng matagal

REMEMBER this is just my suggestion for the question of beginner routine or atleast some basic routine it doesnt guaranteed 100%. it depends kung hanggang saan capacity mo.

WHY???
1. you SHOULD do it the RIGHT way the form, execution, breathing in the routine.
2. ROUTINES should vary and CHANGE kasi kapag your always doing it again and again magmuscle wasting ka lang pwede ka magplateau in short di sustain lang di masyado magiimprove katawan mo..it should be increase depends on your level capacity sa weight na kaya mong buhatin.
3. PROPER diet is also needed kasi kung mggym ka nga tapos kakain ka rin ng napakadami it will be USELESS.
4. DISCIPLINE in your self if you put DETERMINATION in the gym you should continue hindi ung hanggang umpisa ka lang.
5. if your having on plateau we'll see kung anung naging problem. PWEDE rin naman ito itry ng iba if you want.

IF YOURE in DOUBT its ok atleast i just wanted to help people..
actually marami pang workout routinesor other options in terms of machines or name of exercise na alternative sa mga nilagay ko that will target abs, chest,back, shoulder, legs and back haha hrap itype dami kasi..un muna sa ngaun..im a girl not a boy :)

Bukas kasi ng morning magygym ako 1st time ko palang bukas. Ang katawan ko slim built di naman ako payat .ung tama lang
anu unang una ko gagawin?? Gusto ko kasi lumake katawan ko eh. . Advise naman po kung anu2x mga dapat gawin at ilang araw bago bumalik at tsaka ilang oras dapat sa gym. .

Anyway thankyou ng marami sa reply mo makakatulong sa akin yun para sa katulad kong bago lang sa gym, hindi naman sa wala ako program dun gusto ko lang marami ako matutunan. Sa loob ng 1 month kong pagwowork out alam ko na ngayon na mali lahat ng ginagawa ko puro lang kasi ako sa upper body walang cardio kasi nakakatamad 15 mins. sa cycling (laugh). Pero ngayon iibahin ko na talaga.

Dapat pala talaga may rest na kahit 1 day? Dapat ba every sets magdagdag ng weights? Yung weight ko 150lbs okay na ba yun o kelangan ko pa magdagdag? Kasi dun sa gym ako lang siguro ang pinakapayat. HAHA. Gaano katagal ang everyday workout? Ako kasi 1-2hrs tapos everyday yun, nakakarest lang ako pag sunday kasi close ang gym. Sa pagkain naman lalo ako lumakas kumain ngayon lagi ako nagugutom ewan ko pero baka dahil sa pagwoworkout ko. Medyo napapansin ko kasi ang fats sa tiyan ko kelangan ko ba magjogging every day? Ano ang magandang supplements para sa akin begginer lang? Mali ba na kumain ng maraming kanin o uminom ng coke?

ok lang yun..doesnt matter kung girl o boy man at naoverlooked mo lang cgro youre probably wondering may girl na nagcomment here.. i used to train clients po different aspects..

you can follow the routine or pwede mo naman gawin kung mas focus mo ung upper body then pwede naman na
day 1 upper
day2 lower
day3 rest
day 4 upper
day 5 lower
ok lang un as long as you know the basics in your routine..

It is very impt to train your LOWER kasi ndun ung biggest muscle natin para gamaan ung upper mo the lower part of your body must be developed too para mas maging stable at mas kayanin lahat ng buong katawan mo hindi ung ALWAYS upper.. There are SOME men who dont want to workout the LOWER kasi mas gusto nila ung UPPER yes maganda naman talaga for men ung UPPER BUT you really have to improve the LOWER part of your body


WARM UP CARDIO kahit 5-10 mins will do
WHY>> warm up ka muna before you start youre routine hindi ung sabak agad at buhat agad kaya nga mostly ng mga naggym sumasakit katawan nila at medyo nabibigla sa 1st start of their work out kasi ung muscle mo is not prepared parang engine di mo muna xa pinainit bago mo istart ung sasakyan..same analogy..

kung ayaw mo naman na tumakbo o treadmill or cycling :

other manual or natural ways : 5 mins minimum ok na un

jumping rope
step up no weights
stair step o akyat baba ka sa stairs

yes you need to take some rest kung di na kaya ng katawan mo then dont dont push yourself too much kasi your body we'll tell you na pagod din katawan mo BUT kung anu kaya ng katawan mo then GO ok lang

1-2 hrs is enough you dont need to be whole day and WORKING out your body hanggang sa mapagod at para lang masulit ung bayad sa gym..ok lng ung 1-2 hrs enough na yun para magbuilt ka ng muscle ALTHOUGH some men wanted whole day sa GYM eh nasa sau na un kaya lang magmuscle wasting ka din dun..

and any brand as ive said sa recent post ko u need to do combine weights and modified diet kasi tataba ka lang kapag puro supplements ka ng mga protein supplement.. mas maganda pa rin natural way..
