About Federalism in PH, is it good or bad?

When PRRD win the Presidency Federalism is become known to many of us. And by the way what is this all about, what is the effects in our daily life if they implement Federal-State here in our beloved country.

So many questions and queries will be raised if this will come to reality.
Like:
1. What is federalism mainly about?
2. Is our present system similar with the US system?
3. What is the fundamental difference between the unitary form of government and a federal form of government?
4. What division of governmental powers would federalism legally bring about to our government?
etc.

And how in the fields of Balance of Powers, Strong National Government, Reduction of Corruption, Bureaucracy, National Unity, Poor Provinces, Separation of Powers, “Laboratory” States, Government Closer to the People, Economy, and Budgetary “Justice” is this suitable in our country.

Depende yan Matt. Hintayin na lang muna natin yong draft nung Federalism Law na gusto ng Presidente at ipapasa ng Kongreso. Doon natin malalaman kung ano ang mga magaganda at hindi, at anong klaseng federalism ba ang ipapatupad ni Dutete.

Sa pagkakaalam ko, ang Federalism ay ginagamit lang sa mga malalaking bansa para magkaroon ng sentralisadong government para di na iaasa sa kapital region. layunin nito na hatiin sa ilang region na may kanya kanyang pondo. Ang bansang Canada at United States ay subok na sa Federal. Kung gagawin dito sa Pilipinas, baka magkagulo o dislocation sa mga government kasi ginawa din yan sa Venezuela, ang resulta nagkagulo gulo ang government nila. Mas maganda siguro na gawing Parliament ang Pilipinas, subok na sa buong Asia.
