[ADVISE] Help in Assembling/Building/Choosing/Upgrading Your Computer

I started this thread to help everyone wanting a new computer. All you need to do is post the following:

usage:

other miscellaneous requirements:

*If to be used for gaming,. please indicate the games you wish to play.


The prices i will be using are those that come from major shops in gilmore and also PCexpress and others... The prices will only reflect that of which on the date of my post.

How to get to Gilmore:
commuting... From EDSA get on the MRT to Cubao and take the other train and get off at Gilmore station. so easy.
driving... Via aurora is the easiest way from EDSA. anyway, just ask na lang cos i dunno where you'll be coming from.

Pass muna sa gpu for now for storage lang and basic pc functions.
Kung kaya din sana 4 tera hdd
Will look for 2nd hand monitor.

4tb hdd alone costs more than 60% of your budget. Baka 2nd hand na system for +3k makahanap ka

could you test if you can access bios with freesync on? some have reported they get "no image" when accessing bios.

Pa suggest po 15k build, without Monitor po kasi may monitor na, no videocard ndn po kung kaya build in nlng po gagamiten,
purpose is to Play NBA 2k17 Mid-High settings. sa ngayon po may mga iilan na po kong pinamimilian, pa advise naron lang po.

CPU: FM2+ AMD Godavari A10-7860K 3.90-4.0Ghz 4-Core - 5.3k php
or lga1151 Intel Pentium G4560 3.5 ghz 2-core - 2.9k php
Mobo: 3-4k php, as much as possible Gigabyte or MSI
RAM: kahit 4GB lang oks na, as much as possible gusto ko DDR4 kaso wala maganda socket pag sa AMD
HDD: Seagate 1TB - 2.4k
Case Fan: Rakk Ounos 120mm Eclipse Red Led Fan - 200php
KB/MSE: 500php

but why? 4460 is still a capable cpu. kung dahil sa games, just add a good gpu like a 1060 6gb or rx480 8gb... or even go with a gtx 1070 sa budget mo.

ahh kelangan mo nga i7 or wait for ryzen kasi 6-8 core na sya kelangab mo din nvme ssd para mas mabilis processs

aaaaaaaaahhhhhhhh... unfortunately, kapos budget mo for a new i7 build
processor pa lang +16k na yung yung locked kaby lake pa lang. then another 4k for a decent mobo. wala ka pa ram na nagsipag-taasan na ang presyo
your apps benefit from multiple cores and higher clock speeds.
pero pag-ipunan mo na lang yung kulang:
CPU: i7 7700 = 16100 or go for skylake 6700 for 15.2k
Mobo: Gigabyte GA-B250M-HD3 = 4300
RAM: GSkill Ripjaws V 16gb dual = 5000
