[ADVISE] Help in Assembling/Building/Choosing/Upgrading Your Computer

I started this thread to help everyone wanting a new computer. All you need to do is post the following:

*If to be used for gaming,. please indicate the games you wish to play.


The prices i will be using are those that come from major shops in gilmore and also PCexpress and others... The prices will only reflect that of which on the date of my post.

How to get to Gilmore:
commuting... From EDSA get on the MRT to Cubao and take the other train and get off at Gilmore station. so easy.
driving... Via aurora is the easiest way from EDSA. anyway, just ask na lang cos i dunno where you'll be coming from.

Memory: 8GB, 800mhz
Storage: HDD

Yung storage po ay dadagdagan ko ng Samsung SSD 250gb at gagawin kong main drive para sa OS. Yung RAM po gusto ko i upgrade to 16gb, pero hindi ko alam kung ano pong frequency ang bibilin ko. Talaga bang hanggang 800mhz lang ang pwede sa laptop na yan?

kung tama, pwede pa mag-upgrade for another 8gb. base sa specs, dapat naka 1866mhz ka... pero naka-set lang sa 1600mhz siguro sa bios mo. check mo muna kung pwede mo enable yung xmp profile. kung bibili ka nga, make sure na pareho yung specs ng ilalagay mong bagong ram sa existing para stable yung pc mo.

Yung sa website naka indicate na ddr4 sya but I doubt that. Double check your ram if it is ddr4 or ddr3.
Also check your laptop if it has 2 ram slots. Some crappy laptops tends to only have one slot though apu tends to have 2 ram slot since it boost performance when dual-channeling.
If isa lang yung slot do not worry it is still possible to get 16gb pero single stick sya nun.

For the optimal performance, gawin mo nalang yung sinabi above na same speed and if possible na same model ang bilhin is goods pero same model tends to be more a little expensive for some reason dahil lang na oem yan for your laptop.

Albion online's system requirements are quite low... so...
can you please be specific on your Budget? what's the upper limit?
do you need peripherals? monitor, mouse, keyboard, chair?
about low consumption, PC nowadays are designed for that. during idle time, they consume less than 100w.
