I started this thread to help everyone wanting a new computer. All you need to do is post the following:

other miscellaneous requirements:

*If to be used for gaming,. please indicate the games you wish to play.


The prices i will be using are those that come from major shops in gilmore and also PCexpress and others... The prices will only reflect that of which on the date of my post.

How to get to Gilmore:
commuting... From EDSA get on the MRT to Cubao and take the other train and get off at Gilmore station. so easy.
driving... Via aurora is the easiest way from EDSA. anyway, just ask na lang cos i dunno where you'll be coming from.

There's a question that's been bugging me for a while.

For the NVidia cards, what's the difference between the "GT", "GS" and "GSO" sa mga model names? (Including the "GTX" suffix on the newer cards) Wala lang curious lang.

And I've been thinking on purchasing a DVI LCD monitor. Any ideas for a 6K budget? OK sana kung supported ang malalaking resolution. (1280x960 preferably) I don't really like widescreens, kaya I was wondering if there are non-widescreen LCDs. I have no idea kasi puro widescreen nakikita ko. But if there are any, 'yun ang gusto kong bilhin.

Kung gusto mo makatipid, 'wag ka na bumili ng PSU, 'yung kasama na lang sa casing pero it's not recommended (generic kasi). Or mag-Intel Atom ka na lang.

OT: Anung version po ng winxp ang the best?

Balak mo po ba mag-genuine na OS? Kung XP, Professional, pero if I were you, magda-download na lang ako.

Add ka ng mga 3k-5k, depende sa OS, kung gusto mo ng genuine.

pag sa isang shop mo lang binili lahat ng parts libre lang sya..

dagdag ko din po, pag yung Motherboard/Processor/Casing/PSU binili mo sa kanila, pero pag HDD/VC/Floppy/OD's...minsan pumapayag sila na libre na, pero pwede ding ikaw na magkabit...kaya mo na yun...

tingnan mo sir kung capable pa po iupgrade ang model ng laptop mo. kung pwede iupgrade, tingnan mo po kung gano kalaki ang kya nyang ram.

So bali DDR2 na sya..ayos yun kasi mas mura ang DDR2 kesa sa DDR...

Since 2GB ang Max...2GB na bilin mo kung gusto mo...

sa place....kahit sa Gilmore ok na...pero I strongly suggest sa TipidPC.com kasi mas makakamura at maraming pamimilan..

about sa price...eto estimates ko lang:

1GB DDR2 533 - P700
2GB DDR2 533 - P1300
