I started this thread to help everyone wanting a new computer. All you need to do is post the following:

other miscellaneous requirements:

*If to be used for gaming,. please indicate the games you wish to play.


The prices i will be using are those that come from major shops in gilmore and also PCexpress and others... The prices will only reflect that of which on the date of my post.

How to get to Gilmore:
commuting... From EDSA get on the MRT to Cubao and take the other train and get off at Gilmore station. so easy.
driving... Via aurora is the easiest way from EDSA. anyway, just ask na lang cos i dunno where you'll be coming from.

bro OhNow3p ano masasabi mo sa graphics card na GeForce 9500M GS 512 MB.. kaya kaya nito ang Crisis?.. nasubukan kona sa Company of Heroes (Opposing Fronts) ok naman... kaya kaya nito ang Crisis?

mahirap masabi e, yung mga mid level cards pa rin ngayon, pinapaiyak pa rin ni crysis e.... GTX 260 is a good buy, or Radeon HD 4870.

16K yung GTX 260, 13 naman yung 4870. mas malakas si former, depende na lang kung maka-ATi ka or NVidia. pero likeeveryone said, hindi kaya to ng normal na PSU, iiyak PSU mo dito at baka hindi pa magboot PC mo ng maayos.


@redwing may assembler namna ata sila sa PCHub sa Fairview e. or kung hindi YGPM na lang.

bro, gnun ba tlga kataas yung requirement ng crysis at tlgang nagpapaiyak to? susunod ko kasi snang iDL eh crysis....kaya ba ng setup ko to?

what you mean anong branch? you mean store? either PChub or pcoptions, pero kung ako sa iyo sa PChub sa fairview ka na lang(kung mas malapit nga yun sa iyo) kasi sayang sa pamasahe at parehas lang nman presyo.

2gb Kingston pc800

For 7,955. pero sabi niya baka daw palitan din yung hard drive baka daw hindi kayanin
Nung games. Tama ba yun? Seagate yung current kung HDD nalalaro ko naman sa kanya ngayon yung ibang games like CNC, COD1. hindi pako nagdedecide ano sa tingin mo?

nakita ko din yung athlon 64x2 5200 200pesos lang diffirence dun sa 5000. alin mas ok?

bakit hindi ninyo i-try? shempre what i was trying to say was that some gettings on ultra high settings minsan kapos pa, lalo na sa very high res... such as thoase of 32" LCD. pero kung ordinary 1024x768 or 1280x1024, baka kaya naman. you really have to try. ako nga wala pa rin video card dahil pihikan at medyo kapos sa budget pang highend e...

ganito, tawag ka sa pchub sa gilmore, sabihin mo bibili ka, tapos gusto mo kunin sa fairview. sila na makikipag-arrange nun. or kung gusto mo talaga malaman...

for intel its a totally new setup beacuse generally, boards and processors are more expensive...

Intel E7200 ~ 5500
MSI P45 Neo (or ECS P45T-A) ~ 5500

this is where it'll put you over budget. if you want to keep it under 30K, the team elite 2x1gb 800MHz RAM is only 2000, but this will be your bottleneck, which frankly i do not recommend getting, the new intel procesors should be paired up with 1066MHz RAM

The AMD setup imho is a well fine-tuned machine...(actually, its like a dreammachine to me), unlike what your intel setup will be. we could go for the older E2XXX series processros, and matching motherboards but gaya nga ng sabi ko before, if you're getting old parts, better buy 2nd hand na lang.

yung HDD ko is 40gb lang. ganun pala ibig nyang sabihin kala ko gusto lang bumenta

Windsor core po ito... dapat brisbane. yung mga windsor kasi 2years ago pa(?). kahit mas mababa... brisbane athlon x2 4800+ @ 3K~3.5K mas maganda, dahil mas malamig and pwede mo naman i-OC hanggang 5000+ speed, anyway, 2.4GHz is always the minimum recommended speed for games. (5000+ windsor is 2.6GHz, maliit lang na diperensha)

depends on your preference, IMHO, mas ok ang 780G kung pure IGP ka lang, kung mag-add ka ng video card, medyo masasayang lang, lalo na kung higher end yung model ng VC.
yung ANF82HD ok yun kahit highend VC, pero mas poor ang performance nya sa 780G, pero by unnoticeable margin lang nman..

get the anf82HD if you will purchase a video card or for future video card purchase
get the 780G if you have nbo intention of getting a VC.

sa ram shempre meron malaking difference. branded rams tend to have better chips on them and are more stable on overclocking... if you are saving but have no intention of overclocking, get the generic. but i do not recommend this. nti lang deperensha ng branded sa generic...

yup. nakabili nako. hindi pako naglalagay ng videocard. radeon din yata yung match para sa emaxx kasi yun ang nakalagay dun sa box nya. so far ok naman sa COD4. siguro pag sa mga new games nalang ako bibili ng VC. bat dun sa 2gb na RAM 1.75gb lang yung nakikita ko sa properties? ganun ba talaga? saka sa booting ok naman sya nagtry lang akong buksan ng sabay yung laptop and desktop nauna pa din bumukas yung laptop (P4 3.0ghz 1gbRAM) magkaiba lang sila ng OS sp2 yung sa desktop. and last question. how do you keep your pc in top condition? anong mga app ginagamit mo?

kasi bro IGP ka..onboard..kaya yung memory ng IGP mo shared, galing sa memory mismo, so bali 2GB -1.75 Gb = 256MB halos ang memory ng IGP mo...

yun pong IGP ay Integrated Graphics Processor, since wala kang video card, kukuha siya ng resources sa RAM ng PC mo..

sa ganyang setup..ok na ok pa yang IGP mo...di ka pa naman extreme gamer eh...
invest ka nalang ng maganda VC..mga nasa 6k matagalan na yun...pero for the mean time..ok na ok yan..
