[ADVISE] Help in Assembling/Building/Choosing/Upgrading Your Computer

Hi guys,

I started this thread to help everyone wanting a new computer. All you need to do is post the following:

budget:
usage:

other miscellaneous requirements:

*If to be used for gaming,. please indicate the games you wish to play.

The prices i will be using are those that come from major shops in gilmore and also PCexpress and others... The prices will only reflect that of which on the date of my post.

also please put your requests in this format:

please indicate (at least)the size of the hard disk desired, and also what you need/have/prefer.

How to get to Gilmore:
commuting... From EDSA get on the MRT to Cubao and take the other train and get off at Gilmore station. so easy.
driving... Via aurora is the easiest way from EDSA. anyway, just ask na lang cos i dunno where you'll be coming from.

Hi. Please help me buy a computer for my son. He will be using it mainly for school and some games. He likes to play Dota and L4D. Our budget for the PC would be 20K. We already have a printer, monitor and speakers. Our monitor is a 17" CRT monitor. My son said he prefers 1gb video card.

You get what you pay for syempre. Spend less then you'll get less obviously. Baka malala pa sa integrated yung makuha mo 500 php ba naman.

The parts itself are good pero ang gusto ko malaman kung magkano budget nya at kung ano ang pag gagamitan para may basehan ako. There's a big difference between spending on what you need and what you want.

As long as SATA3 at 7200 RPM OK yan. 500GB is usually priced at 2.7k at this time.

Kung max dun sa 4 applications na sinabi mo, syempre hindi. Depende yan sa projects mo. Kung full pledged media artist ka malamang mabibitin ka sa setup na yan.

Kung CS at 2k13 lang, sisiw na mga laro lang yan.

Iba parin pag nka desktop ka syempre hehe. It won't match the performance of a 70k rig any day.

maraming salamat po,..

usage cguro ung makakalaro most of the games gaya ng nba2k12 mga online games, basta po ung magandang spec na mkukuha ko sa budget ko, thanks po,....
sir sana sa pchub po kayo kumuha ng mga prices, tsaka po rig w/ monitor na ung 20k-25k,.....

TS need ko din po ng advise. Gusto ko sana mgset-up ng cpu(only). Budget is 20k or below. Purpose is for gaming,video editing,internet,etc. Basta ang cpu is Intel Core 2 Duo or higher. Bsta ung tama lang sa 20k. Naghihigpit kasi.hehe. Thanks in advance! Mbuhay ds thread! :-)

Sir aware naman ako na mas maganda ang desktop but the only problem is yung portability. Thats why im asking kung okay na yung ganung laptop. Thank you narin sa pagsagot.

Mas ideal ngayon mag diskless setup. Mas maganda tingnan mo muna yun, ang laking tipid at less maintenance.

Kahit ano. Lahat naman ng RAM ngayon may lifetime warranty depende nalang sa kung anong afford mo.

po, pasensya na kung makulit :laugh:

--->Tanong lang po ulit, kung maglalagay ako ng cpu cooler at 2 o 3 fan ay kakayanin po na ng PSU: Antec VP550P??? o need ko din pong itaas pa ang wattage hanggang 600w??? Kasi po dapat daw ay magspent ako sa magandang psu para maiwasan po ang shortcircuit kapag nagmumulti-tasking ako baka po kasi pumutok at masunog ang mga parts sa loob ng casing... :thanks:

Sir Janz sa PC Hub Gilmore ako bibili ng parts,kaso hindi ko alam kung pano gagawin ko sa OS pati ung Microsoft Office Installer, kaylangan ba Genuine OS ang bibilhin ko? wala naman ako mahihiraman ng installer ng OS, pa help ako sir janz
