I started this thread to help everyone wanting a new computer. All you need to do is post the following:

other miscellaneous requirements:

*If to be used for gaming,. please indicate the games you wish to play.


The prices i will be using are those that come from major shops in gilmore and also PCexpress and others... The prices will only reflect that of which on the date of my post.

How to get to Gilmore:
commuting... From EDSA get on the MRT to Cubao and take the other train and get off at Gilmore station. so easy.
driving... Via aurora is the easiest way from EDSA. anyway, just ask na lang cos i dunno where you'll be coming from.

anu po ang ma rerecommend ninyo sakin na laptop
AMD-10 ang first choice ko
pero kung may mas maganda kayong
mai-oofer na INTEL pero hindi ganong nagkakatalo sa price

tanong ko lang kung ok lang ba mag add ako ng memory card na ibang brand?
naka 2gb kasi ako now na elixer brand kaso ang hirap humanap nun balak ko mag add ng kingston.. wala bang magiging problema kung mag kaibang brand pero same na ddr3 1333?

anything.. basta mameet nia yung needs mo for sure sulit yun... nasa type of use nmn yan...

any reason po in buying laptop???

Hindi naman po gaming purpose ko, want ko lang kasi siya lagyan ng application na mabigat, actually, want ko installan siya ng Adobe Flash para sa game dev. ko

Kaya gusto ko medyo mataas ang RAM at processor niya para hindi masyado laggy..Anyways, my alloted budget for this is 30K.

Kung may alam po kayo na ganitong specs or medyo malapit, please reply po

sa tanong mo naman ano ba mas maganda amd or intel, para saken intel kasi low cost ang sustain nya sa energy meaning mas mahina ang consume mo sa electric bills mo kaya lang sa amd mas mura sya compare sa intel kung parehas cla ng performance. Sa amd pde mo pang i-overclock para bimilis pa lalo ung processor mo kaya lang tatas ren ang consume nun ng power meaning liliit ang lifespan nun kasi kung baga sa sasakyan laging naka-high speed ung andar ng oto mo imbis na normal lang.

Kung bibili ka naman ng memory syempre mas mataas ung value ng memory mas maganda.
Sa mobo naman dapat compatible ung sa processor mo, may iba't ibang slot kasi un para sa specific na processor, ask mo nalang sa pagbibilhan mo ung combination.

Hard drive naman nde ko advice ung malaking capacity kasi mahal un. Pede ka naman bumili ng mura at low capacity then bumili ka nalang ng external drive para dun ka mag-save. Advice ko ren kung pang gaming naman ang pc mo ok na cguro mga 500gb, di ka na mauubusan dun.

Tanong ka lang ulit kung may gusto ka pa malamang.

Next question: type ko ung cooler cpu na.. Cooler master v8 gts. compatible po ba sya sa napili ko na case?


Next question: enough na po ba yung 500watts na PSU? baka naman po may mas mura pa dyan..

Next po.. suggest naman po kau ng mga store/dealer bukod sa pchub/pcnetmiles/dynaquest etc. na mas mura at madaling makipagtransaction....

SIR JANZZON sana mabasa nyo din po

same build to sa rig ko na nasa sig ko, 35600 lahat nagastos ko rig lang without optical drive. Yun nga lang 1TB HDD, 650W PSU FSP Raider, at FX-8320 ang nabili ko. Sa dynaquest kasi mura pre, try mo sa cooltechpc mas mura daw doon. So far so good yang build mo pre. 500Watts is okay but you can choose better PSU Brand. Kung balak mong mag overclock, i think kelangan mo pa taasan ang Watts ng PSU mo, at better motherboard. Btw when i say "better" it doesnt mean na panget ang napili mo, it is just because sa tingin ko eh may mas maganda pang choice. So far so good

nice build... opinion ko lng po... change k po ng psu.. and check mo po performance nung cpu cooler or look for a diff. one... amd po yan it runs hotter compared to an intel cpu... just to be safe...

Acer Y500 sa tingin ko sir, ni recommend ko na rin yan sa isa dito, pero kung ako sayo mag backread ka kahit konting effort sir.

sa mga tumingin sa gtx 760, mas trip ko for me huh, im not a fanboy, but i have previously build full amd specs, and now i have currently build amd fx-8350 & sapphire 7870, dapat 7950 kaya lang over budget na at no need for hi-end dahil sa model lang naman at hindi ko gagamitin pang render ang gpu, only the cpu 8-cores,

kayo guys what is the real purpose of your specs para mas madali natin mapagusapan, im not a pro or masabi may alam pero sa abot ng mga nabasa ko ng nahahanap ako makaktulong sa setup ko, kayo din sir basa basa din kahit sa ibang forum dahil marami talaga,

newegg / ncix / pcpartpicker /

marami sila benchmark regarding sa gpu/cpu. check na rin sa youtube tulad nito.

Salamat sa advise sir pero mid-range lng target kong GPU. Ok na ako sa Palit mahal yung ibang brands at nacompare ko n rin yung specs at reviews.

Acer Y500 sa tingin ko sir, ni recommend ko na rin yan sa isa dito, pero kung ako sayo mag backread ka kahit konting effort sir.

Lenovo Y500 yung tinutukoy mo sir. Di xa pasok sa budget na 30k. May y510 na rin na may 4th gen haswell at higher GPU with optimus(wla kasi yung y500).
haswell = better battery life, optimus(graphics switching) = lower power consumption
