[ADVISE] Help in Assembling/Building/Choosing/Upgrading Your Computer

Hi guys,

I started this thread to help everyone wanting a new computer. All you need to do is post the following:

budget:
usage:

other miscellaneous requirements:

*If to be used for gaming,. please indicate the games you wish to play.


The prices i will be using are those that come from major shops in gilmore and also PCexpress and others... The prices will only reflect that of which on the date of my post.


also please put your requests in this format:

How to get to Gilmore:
commuting... From EDSA get on the MRT to Cubao and take the other train and get off at Gilmore station. so easy.
driving... Via aurora is the easiest way from EDSA. anyway, just ask na lang cos i dunno where you'll be coming from.

oo nga noh 200 lang diperensya. pwede! basta stretch ang budget 200 lang naman eh hehe

Mag upgrade po ako ng video card, ala po ako maxado alam sa hardware, eto po motherboard ko..

may 2nd hand ksi na video card ATI RADEON 5450 1gb
yan lng muna bibilhin ko habang hindi pa ako mkafull upgrade sa pc ko ito yung specs ko

video card pwede, pero possible na ma bottleneck, depende sa processor mo
ung 4GB DDR3 hindi pwede kasi DDR2 800 lang ang kaya nyan

makalaro ba ng NBA 2k13 ang laptop na ang spec ay Intel HD Graphics 3000? or ung Intel HD Graphics lang naka indicate?

gusto ko bumili ng laptop... anu advise nyo para sa gaming

Mas prefer ko po ang intel processor mas matipid sa kuryente... Pag po ung intel haswell and prefer ko?? Ano po ang maisasuggest nyo sir?

sir di ko sure if kakayanin ng 15 to 22K ang apps for 3d rendering, specially you need bigger ram & 4 core up. so kulang yan sir na 15-22K, pwede kung 22K+ sir, base on my experience sir may specs ako na worth 28K pero hindi pa rin sapat for 3d rendering, at nag add pa ako ng another 4GB para sa ram na 1600MHz sir,

Cpu 4-core its up to you either amd or intel,
gpu i dunno which one, im using amd cpu & gpu kasi,

im using amd fx-8350 & sapphire hd 7950 oc ed, sulit na sulit sa pre rendering using vray rt, at sa vray adv sulit din ang fx-8350, yun lang sir malaki kakain na budget for this.

Price : 25k below,

USAGE : Gaming tska Pang internet, movie pero GAMING talga priorities ko.
yung kaya kahit mga latest games highest settings.

CPU lang need ko.

same build to sa rig ko na nasa sig ko, 35600 lahat nagastos ko rig lang without optical drive. Yun nga lang 1TB HDD, 650W PSU FSP Raider, at FX-8320 ang nabili ko. Sa dynaquest kasi mura pre, try mo sa cooltechpc mas mura daw doon. So far so good yang build mo pre. 500Watts is okay but you can choose better PSU Brand. Kung balak mong mag overclock, i think kelangan mo pa taasan ang Watts ng PSU mo, at better motherboard. Btw when i say "better" it doesnt mean na panget ang napili mo, it is just because sa tingin ko eh may mas maganda pang choice. So far so good

hi sir thank you po.. anu po masusuggest nyong motherboard? yan lng kasi kaya ng budget at mas ok ba na bumili ng CPU cooler para sa AMD build? or mag INTEL build nlng? namamahalan kasi ako sa intel..

nice build... opinion ko lng po... change k po ng psu.. and check mo po performance nung cpu cooler or look for a diff. one... amd po yan it runs hotter compared to an intel cpu... just to be safe...

thanks po sa advice.. ung amd lng kasi tlga ang pasok sa budget... pero kung bibili ako ng cpu cooler anu po ba maisusuggest nyo?
