I started this thread to help everyone wanting a new computer. All you need to do is post the following:

other miscellaneous requirements:

*If to be used for gaming,. please indicate the games you wish to play.


The prices i will be using are those that come from major shops in gilmore and also PCexpress and others... The prices will only reflect that of which on the date of my post.

How to get to Gilmore:
commuting... From EDSA get on the MRT to Cubao and take the other train and get off at Gilmore station. so easy.
driving... Via aurora is the easiest way from EDSA. anyway, just ask na lang cos i dunno where you'll be coming from.

most common...mga nasa P35-40k ang minimum ng decent gaming PC..kahit Crysis kahit papano kaya..

^ ok na rin yan, un nga lang. .better lang sana kung core 2 duo/quad ang processor tapos p31/p35/p45 ung mobo. .

pero kung yan man piliin mo. .palitan q lng is mobo and PSU, i recommend getter HEC winRaptor 500W, rather than 400W, power hungry yang 4830, kasi mgcoconnect ka pa ng 6-pin PCI-e sa PSU mo. .pero maganda na rin ang Inno3D 9500GT(nasa 2.7k) if gusto mong makatipid pa, para makakuha ka ng 22" monitor. .^_^ tas sa mobo, kung makahanap ka po ne2 ASUS P5E-VM G35, nasa P2950 ang alam q. .

2950? price check po. P5KPL po is G31... and priced at 3K. the gigabye G33 matx is already priced at 6K btw. so malabo na yung G35 is priced at 3K as well.

PweDe ko bA paghaluin yung suggesti0n nyo, Pero nasa 20k pa rin yung budget? Malaki po bA difFerence ng quadc0re sa c0re 2 duo? Thanks.

actually, if you ask me, ok na yang specs na posted mo, yun nga lang yung VC mo malakas masyado, annd mahina PSU mo. go 9800GT instead and then 500W Raptor. what's your monitor size anyhow and resolution?
also if you can, go 2x1gb dual channel kit. 1600 na lang ang team elite 800MHz

2950? price check po. P5KPL po is G31... and priced at 3K. the gigabye G33 matx is already priced at 6K btw. so malabo na yung G35 is priced at 3K as well.

@genocide, no worries bro, baka lang kasi mamuti mata nila kakahanap ng ganung board na under 3K actually, ako rin gusto ko sana nun... hehe... jung may alam ka lang na meron G35 na 3K. XD

both are good. like i said, it depends on your monitor and gaming preference na.
Dual Channel sabi its faster on some applications, pero not all. IMHO, the idea is all applications in the near future will take advantage of the dual channel architecture so you better get on board with it. and besides, mas pogi tignan yung memory na yan.

bro, review the previous posts, depende sa iyo, pwede ka mag 780G na lang na onboard muna. it can run most popular games. review mo tong thread, yung PC ni redwing(ata) yun pwedeng pwede. liitan mo lang hard disk,m mga 160Gb or 80gb pa nga. invest in a proper PSU also, kasi kelangan mo proteksyonan yung PC Parts mo, kahit HEC 400W Raptor. swak na yun.

standard sata ODD and sata HDD.

can this run photoshop without lag? or should i just convert to a higher end system? 1.6GHz ata clock ng procie, pero dual core. not sure though.

nakagawa na ako ng 3 nito, puro office apps lang kasi, pero ok naman... wala pa back job. eto lang, ayoko magrecommend kung hindi kaya yung photoshop.

BTW, you could theoretically limit this to 20K i think.

@barusang, i suggest upgrading your PSU to HEC Raptor 500W 2200. yun namang keyboard and mouse 250 ata a4tech na. optical pa yung mouse... pero depende na sa casing yun kung may free.

pansinin mo yung post ko para kay ryn.. yung motherboard na ASROck pwede na yan kung hindi ka naman nag o-overclock.

meron kaya ako makukuha na magandang pc na 15k lang ang budget? ano ung specs? kelangan ko lang sya for image processing (Photoshop) etc. Not really for gaming purposes.


di ko na kelangan monitor kasi gagamitin ko ung LCD tv ko.
