Hi guys,

I started this thread to help everyone wanting a new computer. All you need to do is post the following:
Code:
budget:
usage:

other miscellaneous requirements:

*If to be used for gaming,. please indicate the games you wish to play.

The prices i will be using are those that come from major shops in gilmore and also PCexpress and others... The prices will only reflect that of which on the date of my post.

also please put your requests in this format:

Processor:
Motherboard:
RAM:

Video Card:

Hard Drive:
Optical Drive:

Power Supply:
Casing:

monitor:

Accessories:

please indicate (at least)the size of the hard disk desired, and also what you need/have/prefer.

Thanks.

How to get to Gilmore:
commuting... From EDSA get on the MRT to Cubao and take the other train and get off at Gilmore station. so easy.
driving... Via aurora is the easiest way from EDSA. anyway, just ask na lang cos i dunno where you'll be coming from.

An example post would be as follows:
Hi. Please help me buy a computer for my son. He will be using it mainly for school and some games. He likes to play Dota and L4D. Our budget for the PC would be 20K. We already have a printer, monitor and speakers. Our monitor is a 17" CRT monitor. My son said he prefers 1gb video card.

Thank you.

wah tumaas pla price nung casing nagin 1.5k na! yung casing kasi na un sure ako na kakasya yung 5770, haha

oo nga.. haha kaya di ako bumile ng casing eh.. haha

@countkenshin

explain ko sayo ng madale. basta triple core or quad core (regardless ung level cache), walang bottleneck sa system mo (kung di ka pansinin sa computer mo. hehehe). also pwede na ring pang heavy duty games yang athlon II x4.

Re: [ADVISE]Help you build/choose/upgrade your Computer

Pa help po sa pag build ng pc...

C2D e7500
VC - 9600gt
2 to 4GB ram

320GB HDD

kayo na po bahala sa mobo, psu, and case

Pero tight budget ko 18.5K lang for CPU

adjust na lang po sa VC and RAM kung kulang

5-6K sa monitor (preferably 19")

ok ba yung VERTU na brand?

thanks in advance

Casing: Gigabyte GZ-X6 (P1,500)
PSU: HEC Raptor Power 500W (P2,250)

lol, core 2 duo consumes 65W full load, athlon II x2 comsumes also 65W, haha. .and power consumption depends on the load. .
dun sa AMD, nka DDR3 ka na d2 sa e7500 nka DDR2 which is masmahal ng onti kesa DDR3. .
Total Processor-to-System Bandwidth:AMD Athlon X2 has Up to 33.1GB/s bandwidth bec. of DDR3 while Intel Core 2 Duo E7500 has 10.7 GB/s

Processor: Intel Core 2 Duo E7500 (P5,250)

you can use cpuid to monitor the heat. .

msi oc switch is design for people who are not experienced with oc. .it automatically oc's itself which is recommended for the whole system. .just be sure to have enough system power and cooling system. ./no1

Re: [ADVISE]Help you build/choose/upgrade your Computer

my cooling system are all stock,.. and i didn't switch both switch just one.. just gonna try it ...

is this it ??? when i run crysis .. my gpu goes 72 something which is still ok .. i thnk.?

Re: [ADVISE]Help you build/choose/upgrade your Computer

yup. ok lang yan.

sa GPU, 80C is usually hot na, pero i think until 100C ang design niya (wouldn't want it runningg on 100C or even 90C for prolonged usage though)

tapos sa CPU, ok lang yan basta hindi abot ng 60C. 55C i would recommend you shut it down and let it rest na. pero wouldn't worry that much about CPU kasi mag-auto shutdown yang PC mo pag really mainit na yung Procie mo.
