[ADVISE] Help in Assembling/Building/Choosing/Upgrading Your Computer

I started this thread to help everyone wanting a new computer. All you need to do is post the following:

other miscellaneous requirements:

*If to be used for gaming,. please indicate the games you wish to play.


The prices i will be using are those that come from major shops in gilmore and also PCexpress and others... The prices will only reflect that of which on the date of my post.

How to get to Gilmore:
commuting... From EDSA get on the MRT to Cubao and take the other train and get off at Gilmore station. so easy.
driving... Via aurora is the easiest way from EDSA. anyway, just ask na lang cos i dunno where you'll be coming from.

Thanks! I have submitted a form to PC Hub and they got most of the parts except for PSU and Casing. All in all 61k.

I'm still thinking to build this monster with PC Express or that assembly line somewhere in Festival Mall since it's much cheaper there. (PC Hub only has Gilmore pick-up which is 42 KM away from my home).

Pag iponan ko muna yan kuya gusto ko kasi yung ram 8gb ito muna GPU gagamitin ko kuya. Kaya ba sa dota2 tung GPU nato ?

May bago siyang update kaso puro dlc at freebies
Tapusin ko muna yung game saka request ako refund haha

Nanood ako video kanina sa yt pano malaman bottleneck ng rig
Ok naman cpu at gpu ko
Game talaga problema haha

the good thing about the radeon software is the overclock profile. so no need to macro when launching games that needs overclocking. pwede ka na rin mag underclock kung browsing at watching lang. marami kasi nagrereklamo sa catalyst mahirap hanapin yung mga options. kumbaga parang the old bios vs uefi.

yang concept ng Radeon Software Crimson Edition ay parang galing sa radeon pro, dun kasi pwede ka gumawa ng mga profile mo every game, oc or under clock pwede mo setup gpu mo, pwede din sa browsing, siguro natuwa sila sa nag develop nun kaya ginawa na nilang official

wala ka na upgrade path pag nag fx series ka ngayon, wait mo na lang sa 2016 bagong fx series am4+

the fanboy in me wants to push fx but if you have the money, go with i3. fx still kicks but its really old. although rumor has it that the zen will have backwards compatibility with am3+ sockets. no official announcement yet so don't get your hopes up. its just rumor. anyway, 2017 pa dating ng zen sa pinas malamang kasi q4 2016 sya sa America. malamang kung patok yun sa America baka nasa $200. multiply mo by 1.2 dito, mahal.

kung may plan ka pa for upgrade ng processor in the future mag intel i3 ka na lang, pero kung sa tingin mo matagalan na gamit na yang setup mo mga 5yrs wlang palitan ok lang mag fx 8320e ka

fx6300 still is capable but sadly they tested only with 1600 ram because the motherboard "refuses" to do 2400. obviously, ddr4 is an advantage with the skylake. fx on the other hand can be overclocked.

well, if you were referring to me, my answer is "price - performance ratio"
nakuha ko sakin ng 9k 2nd hand sa TPC
I couldn't pass that since lahat ng geforce 970 na 2nd hand, hindi nagtatagal at nabibili agad at around 12k
R9 290 is still way better ng R9 380 at wala akong nakikitang nagbebenta ng 2nd hand ng 380 at 390

walang problema sa games? high to ultra?
mas mahal nga ata ung bnew nyan kesa 380 kung meron pa..

baka yan na lng din alternative ko over 970 o 390...
