Hi guys,

I started this thread to help everyone wanting a new computer. All you need to do is post the following:
Code:
budget:
usage:

other miscellaneous requirements:

*If to be used for gaming,. please indicate the games you wish to play.

The prices i will be using are those that come from major shops in gilmore and also PCexpress and others... The prices will only reflect that of which on the date of my post.

also please put your requests in this format:

Processor:
Motherboard:
RAM:

Video Card:

Hard Drive:
Optical Drive:

Power Supply:
Casing:

monitor:

Accessories:

please indicate (at least)the size of the hard disk desired, and also what you need/have/prefer.

Thanks.

How to get to Gilmore:
commuting... From EDSA get on the MRT to Cubao and take the other train and get off at Gilmore station. so easy.
driving... Via aurora is the easiest way from EDSA. anyway, just ask na lang cos i dunno where you'll be coming from.

An example post would be as follows:
Hi. Please help me buy a computer for my son. He will be using it mainly for school and some games. He likes to play Dota and L4D. Our budget for the PC would be 20K. We already have a printer, monitor and speakers. Our monitor is a 17" CRT monitor. My son said he prefers 1gb video card.

Thank you.

Mas maganda syempre mga bagong gen ngayon. Kung 10k budget mo, merong 3gb na geforce 1060 rin.

pogi ah
ok lang yan. mababa lang naman power consumption ng rx460 which is one of the main benefits of the newer generations of GPU

CPU: Intel core i3 6100 = 5,450
RAM: GSkill Ripjaws V 8gb dual ddr4 = 2,250

Mobo: ASRock H110M-HDV = 2,890
total = 10,590

Mobo: Gigabyte GA-H110M-H ddr4 = 3,400
total = 11,100

if 4gb ram
RAM: Kingston HyperX Fury 4gb ddr4 2133 = 1,130.00
Mobo: Gigabyte GA-H110M-H ddr4 = 3,400
Total = 9,980.00

Re: [ADVISE]Help you build/choose a Computer

I posted that video to show na kahit high end i7 ang CPU mo, you won't achieve 60fps on a low end GPU. yun kasi ang tinatanong nung isang member. for whatever reason kung bakit mataas ang CPU usage, even the video creator has no idea. they were only speculating on why. kahit na magtalo-talo tayo dito kung bakit nangyari yun, we can only speculate unless we can find an official answer from the creators of GTAV. though this is a healthy discussion, please learn to respect each others opinion.

built-in lang GPU mo (IGP) kaya hirap yung PC. kung magdadagdag ka ng discrete video card, your gaming experience will greatly increase. for now, the best low end GPU i can recommend is a Radeon RX460 for less than 6k. you can opt for a geforce 750ti pero for around 500 petot, you'll get 20% better performance.

brand new, wala
i can't recommend any gpu within those price range unless mag-hunt ka ng mga 2nd hand GPU.
hindi sulit ang performance nila sa gagastusin mo. better ipon ka na lang ng konti to be able to avail a 750ti or rx460
2nd hand geforce 760 or 660

Thanks :)

Re: [ADVISE]Help you build/choose a Computer

these are low end low power GPU's, why so obsessed with heat anyway? :noidea:
heto basahin mo.
http://www.pcworld.com/article/3104...hics-card-with-bleeding-edge-tech.html?page=9

Re: [ADVISE]Help you build/choose a Computer

no idea :noidea:
baka nakakabit sa lutuan nyo at lagpas 100°C yung temps

edit: besides, walang PC component nowadays that are designed to run more than 95°C...nagthe-thermal throttle/shutdown na yan sila pag lumagpas dun. at sigurado namang mapapaso ka pag sinubukan mong hawakan yung part na yun ng PC mo. check mo na lang yung sensor kung saan nakalagay.
