Hi guys,

I started this thread to help everyone wanting a new computer. All you need to do is post the following:
Code:
budget:
usage:

other miscellaneous requirements:

*If to be used for gaming,. please indicate the games you wish to play.

The prices i will be using are those that come from major shops in gilmore and also PCexpress and others... The prices will only reflect that of which on the date of my post.

also please put your requests in this format:

Processor:
Motherboard:
RAM:

Video Card:

Hard Drive:
Optical Drive:

Power Supply:
Casing:

monitor:

Accessories:

please indicate (at least)the size of the hard disk desired, and also what you need/have/prefer.

Thanks.

How to get to Gilmore:
commuting... From EDSA get on the MRT to Cubao and take the other train and get off at Gilmore station. so easy.
driving... Via aurora is the easiest way from EDSA. anyway, just ask na lang cos i dunno where you'll be coming from.

An example post would be as follows:
Hi. Please help me buy a computer for my son. He will be using it mainly for school and some games. He likes to play Dota and L4D. Our budget for the PC would be 20K. We already have a printer, monitor and speakers. Our monitor is a 17" CRT monitor. My son said he prefers 1gb video card.

Thank you.

pwede naman. same generation at socket type yan eh.

never be bottleneck :")

BTW, bat nagmahal bigla price nila haha.

Salamat ng marami ka sb. . Kasi tag 7,300 nalang gtx 1050ti 128 4gb ddr5. ..

Any help regarding my planned PC gaming rig.
Gtx 1060 lng tlga Plano ko GPU pero may nabili kapatid ko a little over $40 video card sa price ng 1060

I already bought these parts
video card EVGA gtx 980ti 6gb classified (which was on sale -60% off) A REALLY GREAT STEAL!!!!
EVGA 750 watts g1 PSU
Hyper evo 212
Nzxt s340 red/black casing

Wala pa ako processor and motherboard.
Torn between MSI M5 or Gigabyte Ultra Gaming. Which is better? Any thoughts on this. thank you mga ka Sb.
Or will I drop the evo and do AIO cooling system sa processor?

question lng po. AMD A4-3400 CPU bottleneck na po ba 1050 mini ti?

AMD A4-3400 CPU can i upgrade to AMD A10 or higher? Kasya kaya to sa motherboard nd working?

TIA

mukhang factory overclocked yung DUAL-GTX1060-O6G
in my opinion, just get the cheapest one you can afford and overclock yourself :noidea:
less than 5fps lang naman performance difference ng mga yan sa isa't isa... which for me, doesn't justify the extra costs :noidea:
baka may habol kang porma/theme, temperature, etc... those should also be considered in choosing your PC parts... pero kung wala... I'd just settle with the cheapest one

wow :wow: 980Ti 60% off :wow: penge naman kami
pati mobo mo, super high end
heto, check mo side by side comparison:
https://us.hardware.info/comparisontable/products/350968-317164
check mo na lang and compare yourself.
Gigabyte has thunderbolt support if that matters to you :noidea: and also has higher CPU voltage tweaking which can potentially yield higher overclocking performance.
about sa CPU cooler... maraming magagandang AIO na lumabas ngayon... though I think you should research first on their pros and cons before committing to buying one. kasi meron din mga air type cpu cooler (Noctua NHD14 or 15) that can basically deliver almost the same performance without the worry of maintenance for an AIO water cooler :noidea:

dream build? laging nagbabago depende sa bagong parts :evillol:
basically, I've already made my dream build with the parts and budget available at that time. ngayon, I have 2 builds that I want to do if money is not an issue and a 3rd unnecessary build just for the sake of it
1st is a Small Form Factor Build. I'm still torn between a cube or a slim case. housing a Z170n itx mobo, i7 6700k, cryorig c7, m.2 ssd, 4tb hdd, gtx 1070
2nd is an AMD Zen build with Vega... pero next year pa malalaman parts list nito.
3rd full x99 build

kung dota 2 lang naman lalaruin, mababa lang specs na kelangan nyan. maganda gastusan dyan is monitor na high refresh rate with g-sync or freesync support depende on which GPU you will buy.
H170 or Z170 kung maraming PCIE at SATA ports kelangan mo.
RAM = 8gb is more than enough. 4gb will do but might cause stuttering occasionally.
storage = 240gb for fast loading time.
PSU = 500w true rated/bronze
GPU = RX470 mura sa US ($170). pero cheaper GPU's like: rx460, 1050, 1050ti should be able to deliver excellent frame rates on max details.
approx 25k siguro without monitor and peripherals on a 1050ti :noidea:
minus 2.5k siguro kung G4400 cpu, atsaka minus 1k for 4gb of RAM. minus another 1k kung 120gb ssd lang or HDD na lang. and minus another 2k kung rx460 lang gpu.

question lng po. AMD A4-3400 CPU bottleneck na po ba 1050 mini ti?

AMD A4-3400 CPU can i upgrade to AMD A10 or higher? Kasya kaya to sa motherboard nd working?

Thanks.

to put "Bottleneck" simply:
when one part of your hardware hinders another part to fully deliver its intended performance.
ex:
1) lagyan ko ng gtx1080 yung G4400 na cpu on a 1080p 60hz monitor... basically, mahina yung CPU at monitor mo para sa full capability ng GPU mo.
2) Sandisk Extreme SSD on a SATA 3 (rev 2) mobo. which supports SATA 6Gb/s interface and when connected to SATA 6Gb/s port, can reach up to 550/520MB/s sequential read and sequential write speed rates respectively. However, when the drive is connected to SATA 3 Gb/s port, it can reach up to 285/275MB/s sequential read and sequential write speed rates respectively.
3) my current setup: i7 with R9 290 on a 2560x1600 monitor. GPU to weak for my CPU and monitor to get the latest AAA games to play @ 60fps or more.

Will research more about this build. Thank you sa insight boss. Motherboard/ Processor / Cooler pa problema ko. Hirap mag decide considering hindi pipitsugin yun nabili videocard.

to help you decide on what kind of build to go with, use this questions as reference:
  1. ano bang pag-gagamitan mo sa PC na bubuohin mo? kung games lang naman, i5 6600k should be enough. overclock it to around 4.7ghz should give you a decent FPS bump. games rarely use more than 4 cores of processing. maybe mga up-coming games pwede makinabang.
  2. kung video editing, virtual machines and 3d rendering, dun mo mapapakinabangan ang i7. the more cores the better performance and time savings you'll get. dyan din pumapasok ang tanong kung X99 vs Z170. kung light usage ka lang naman sa nabanggit kong workload, pwede ng z170... pero kung pagkakaperahan mo, dun ka mag-X99.
  3. multi-GPU support... mas maganda ang implementation ng X99 sa multi-GPU support pero hindi naman recommended na kasi kahit mga manufacturer at game devs ngayon mas preferred na you either stick to 1 powerful GPU or only 2.

edit: here's a good vid explaining why you should go for a CPU on either X99 or Z170

Oks boss. Gaming + Video rendering/ editing Ngayon medyo naliliwanagan nako. Unexpected kasi yun videocard kaya namroblema ako bigla. Haha biglang naging high end rig tuloy bubuuin ko. Actually dream build na to, coming from i5 3570 + gtx 750 ti build. Thanks so much boss. This will narrow down my choices.

CPU: i5 6400 = 8,590
Mobo: ASRock H110M-DSV/D4 = 2,800
RAM: Crucial Ballistix Sport 8gb = 2350
HDD: WD Blue 1tb = 2290
PSU: Seasonic S12II 520 = 2650
GPU: Palit GTX 1060 Dual 3gb = 9,950 (pwede yung mini para mas mura ng konti)
Case: NZXT Source 210 = 1850 (pwede palitan depende sa trip)
Total = 30,480
