Hi guys,

I started this thread to help everyone wanting a new computer. All you need to do is post the following:
Code:
budget:
usage:

other miscellaneous requirements:

*If to be used for gaming,. please indicate the games you wish to play.

The prices i will be using are those that come from major shops in gilmore and also PCexpress and others... The prices will only reflect that of which on the date of my post.

also please put your requests in this format:

Processor:
Motherboard:
RAM:

Video Card:

Hard Drive:
Optical Drive:

Power Supply:
Casing:

monitor:

Accessories:

please indicate (at least)the size of the hard disk desired, and also what you need/have/prefer.

Thanks.

How to get to Gilmore:
commuting... From EDSA get on the MRT to Cubao and take the other train and get off at Gilmore station. so easy.
driving... Via aurora is the easiest way from EDSA. anyway, just ask na lang cos i dunno where you'll be coming from.

An example post would be as follows:
Hi. Please help me buy a computer for my son. He will be using it mainly for school and some games. He likes to play Dota and L4D. Our budget for the PC would be 20K. We already have a printer, monitor and speakers. Our monitor is a 17" CRT monitor. My son said he prefers 1gb video card.

Thank you.

heto abot 53k. not OC capable. stock fan only.
to save on storage, either exclude SSD or downgrade to 120gb (though new PC nowadays should always come with an SSD for overall better responsiveness)
single 8gb of ram. 16gb costs more than 6k. upgrade na lang next year pag bumaba na presyo
case is full tower. pwedeng mas mura na models depende sa taste mo. just browse through their website for visual reference.
DVDrom drive... ewan ko kung bakit nyo pa kelangan nito :noidea: bakit di na lang external usb dvd writer? mas mahal pero pwedeng itabi or gamitin sa ibang pc just in case.

accessories: bahala na kayo. kanya kanyang taste yan. for now, i'm a logitech user for both mouse and keyboard (G710+ and MX Master) on my main pc. pero i have a randopad mxx mechanical keyboard and a redragon cotrophorus mouse on my laptop.

edit: you can save a lot if you go for a Ryzen 5 1600 instead kung talagang habol nyo is multiple cores. yung unlocked i7 7700k costs around +17k tapos kelangan mo pa ng matinong cpu cooler kasi walang kasama. and you'll also need to spend more than 7k sa Z270 mobo.

Ang problema wala daw nakalist eh kakatawag ko lang a day before ako nagpunta.

maraming beses na akong bumili sa dynaquest pero I never had that kind of experience :noidea:

prices are from dynaquest's website unless otherwise specified.
RAM: 8gb ddr4 Kingston single 2133 = 3350
HDD: 1tb WD Blue = 2350
Mobo: ECS H110M4-C2h DDR4 = 2700
CPU: Pentium G4400 = 2700
GPU: Gainward gtx 950 2gb = 4480 (pchub)
Total: 15,580

mukhang video card mo lang may problema... nadetect naman sya nung nilipat mo ng pcie port eh.... tapos ganun ulit nangyari after driver installation :noidea:
mukhang palit na nga brod :sigh:

Update:

Okay na po. Nag switch ako from HD7950 to GTX 1050 ti. After 5 yrs, bumigay na talaga yung Radeon. Salamat sir

Ram: 4gb DDR4 2133 ₱1,900
GPU: XFX RX 460 2GB Single Fan (RX-460P2SFG5) ₱4,800
HDD: Toshiba 500GB 7200rpm Sata3 DT01ACA050 Hard Drive ₱1,950

GT 1030 3.8k - Good Performance
GTX 750Ti 5.3k - Slightly Better Performance

I could Recommend the GTX 1050 but you need a better CPU for less bottlenecks

Sir pa build naman ng cpu worth 30k. Thanks!!
Ps: for gaming po. And suggest na din kayo monitor, going for 1080p gaming

nobody should care about bottlenecks. unless super overkill yung bibilhing mong video card like gtx1070 or higher at nandyan na yung laws of diminishing returns.
just re-use your video card kung may better system ka na :slap:
