Hi guys,

I started this thread to help everyone wanting a new computer. All you need to do is post the following:
Code:
budget:
usage:

other miscellaneous requirements:

*If to be used for gaming,. please indicate the games you wish to play.

The prices i will be using are those that come from major shops in gilmore and also PCexpress and others... The prices will only reflect that of which on the date of my post.

also please put your requests in this format:

Processor:
Motherboard:
RAM:

Video Card:

Hard Drive:
Optical Drive:

Power Supply:
Casing:

monitor:

Accessories:

please indicate (at least)the size of the hard disk desired, and also what you need/have/prefer.

Thanks.

How to get to Gilmore:
commuting... From EDSA get on the MRT to Cubao and take the other train and get off at Gilmore station. so easy.
driving... Via aurora is the easiest way from EDSA. anyway, just ask na lang cos i dunno where you'll be coming from.

An example post would be as follows:
Hi. Please help me buy a computer for my son. He will be using it mainly for school and some games. He likes to play Dota and L4D. Our budget for the PC would be 20K. We already have a printer, monitor and speakers. Our monitor is a 17" CRT monitor. My son said he prefers 1gb video card.

Thank you.

may build ba na kasya ang 15k? for home use po. cpu only, may led monitor na ko

for camtasia studio and web browsing lang. yung anak ko kasi gta vice city lang naman din laro nun, so di na need ng magandang system. pero i need 8gb ram at least.

hirap ng presyong yan :slap:
cpu : AMD Ryzen 3 2200G = 5500
mobo : Gigabyte GA-A320M-DS2 = 3200
ram : Adata 4GB single DDR4 2400Mhz = 2500 (x2 sana to)
hdd : Western Digital Caviar Blue 1TB = 2200
case : MSI Slim PC Casing with 550 watts Psu = 1450
Total = 14,850

i would recommend na gawin mo sanang 2 yung RAM para 8gb tapos dual channel. 4gb is just not enough nowadays :sigh:

edit: make sure na mapa-update mo yung mobo sa vendor to the latest BIOS/UEFI version to support ryzen 2000 series CPU.

for me, NO
dati kasi incredible value for money sya kasi mura ang RAM (at gpu before April 2017) at walang competition from AMD... kung office unit lang sya, pwede ka bumuo ng around +10k lang dati. sa ngayon kasi, dahil sa AMD Ryzen 2200g, may malakas na built-in GPU na at true 4 cores pa which performs better sa g4560 both in work and games.

salamat po sir

basically most IPS monitors have very good color accuracy. kung limited ang options mo, better check the specs first at baka may pasok sa needs mo sa mga available.
for color accuracy, check the specs of the monitor kung supported nya ang sRGB at adobe sRGB color profile since these 2 are the most commonly used... for more detailed guide on how to choose your monitor for image/video editing, check out this link:

parts by parts na lang gawin ko. plan ko ryzen 2200g and gigabyte board with 8gb ram and 1 tb hdd.

AMD Ryzen 5 2600
GIGABYTE X470 AORUS ULTRA GAMING
RAM[?]
HDD[?]
PSU[?]
EVGA GEFORCE GTX 1060 SC 6GB
CORSAIR CARBIDE 270R [OR ANY PREFFERED CASE?]

Applications : Yung pede pa ding maggames na maganda (pa) graphics, MS Excel (minsan may mga heavy excel files na inoopen), VMware/VirtualBox para magrun ng Linux server for practice then in the long run, baka gamitin ko ding server, GNS3, other normal applications such as MSOffice, browser, etc
Mabagal na din sya, Windows 7 32-bit pa OS (planning to upgrade it to Windows10 64-bit) and wala pa naman akong balak palitan lahat, konti konti lang talaga. Kung kaya pa naman nung motherboard, di ko na papalitan yung motherboard, upgrade RAM (X 16GB 8gbx2 for future na upgrade, pero 1 8GB lang muna) at HD (or SSD in the future) lang.

Current PC Specs (6.5-year old PC):
AMD Athlon II X3 440
AsRock 880 GM LE
2GB DDR3
500GB HD
AVR 500 watts
*wala talaga syang videocard*

Thank you in advance!

your question is too broad to answer :noidea: hindi pare-pareho sizes and specifications ng lahat ng case sa 1k na presyo. you have to be specific. just read the specs of the case if it supports ATX sized PSU. ang mas maliit lang naman na PSU commonly used ay "SFX" form factor.

mobo lang? hirap na maghanap ng mobo nyan. baka 2nd hand na lang or kung meron man brand new, overpriced. there's is also the case of "end of life" ng electronics. baka malapit na rin...
suggestion for upgrade: SSD, GPU (2nd hand 750ti), RAM (2nd hand ddr3)

Cheapest i5-8400 Build
pang reference lang
planning to build one with that kind of proc
TIA
Kudos!

or retain yung mobo tapos sa HDD, RAM lang iuupgrade na magagamit ko pa rin in case magupgrade ako ng mobo in the future. budget is total of 10k para sa dalawa. or mas ok na ba ngayon yung mga mini PCs (sample : LIVA Q Intel Apollo Lake N3350 eMMC 32GB, or kung may alam kayo na mas maganda ang brand para sa applications na namention ko above (budget up to 15k kasama na RAM at 1TB HDD)?
