Hi guys,

I started this thread to help everyone wanting a new computer. All you need to do is post the following:
Code:
budget:
usage:

other miscellaneous requirements:

*If to be used for gaming,. please indicate the games you wish to play.

The prices i will be using are those that come from major shops in gilmore and also PCexpress and others... The prices will only reflect that of which on the date of my post.

also please put your requests in this format:

Processor:
Motherboard:
RAM:

Video Card:

Hard Drive:
Optical Drive:

Power Supply:
Casing:

monitor:

Accessories:

please indicate (at least)the size of the hard disk desired, and also what you need/have/prefer.

Thanks.

How to get to Gilmore:
commuting... From EDSA get on the MRT to Cubao and take the other train and get off at Gilmore station. so easy.
driving... Via aurora is the easiest way from EDSA. anyway, just ask na lang cos i dunno where you'll be coming from.

An example post would be as follows:
Hi. Please help me buy a computer for my son. He will be using it mainly for school and some games. He likes to play Dota and L4D. Our budget for the PC would be 20K. We already have a printer, monitor and speakers. Our monitor is a 17" CRT monitor. My son said he prefers 1gb video card.

Thank you.

Pang all-around monitor talaga. Supports 4K, 60Hz, HDR too kahit 1440p lang siya. Kaya pwedeng gamitin sa PS4 Pro. The monitor's EDID accepts a 4k @ 60Hz @ 4:4:4 signal over HDMI, and will downscale it to its native resolution of 2560x1440.

Not sure about the MAG271CQR, pero may reported flickering issues ang MAG241C kapag naka-activate ang G-SYNC tapos nag-kick in ang Low Framerate Compensation (LFC). Ito yata ang 1080p counterpart ng MAG271CQR. Same panel type rin - VA.

Yung napag-usapan namin sa LCD Monitors thread sa TPC last March, nangyayari daw ang flickering sa loading screen ng games na mabilis ang transition, eg. Devil May Cry 5: Framerate is steady at 144 FPS, then suddenly goes down to 40 FPS sa loading bar. It flickers kapag pumasok na ang LFC (generally happens when the FPS is below 48). Probably no issues kung AMD ang GPU mo.

AD27QD Specs:
Panel Manufacturer: Innolux
Panel Type: IPS
Backlight: Edge
Local Dimming: Not Supported
Color Depth: 10-bit (8-bit+FRC) at 120 Hz
Color Depth: 8-bit at 144 Hz
Color Gamut: 95% DCI-P3
Wide Color Gamut: Yes
High Dynamic Range: Supported (VESA DisplayHDR 400)
Peak Brightness: 432 to 459.9 nits
Low Framerate Compensation (LFC): Supported
Backlight Strobing aka Motion Blur Reduction: Supported (1ms MPRT / Aim Stabilizer ON, G-SYNC/FreeSync OFF)
Dynamic Overdrive: Not Supported
Variable Refresh Rate: FreeSync (AMD)
G-SYNC Compatible: Yes (nvidia Certified, April 2019)
Min. Variable Refresh Rate: 48 Hz
Max. Variable Refresh Rate: 144 Hz
Power Consumption: 75W max

mag 6-Core/12-Threads kna agad Ryzen 2600 or Ryzen 3600 Pataas

pero okay pa rin yang i5 3570 sa 1080p Gaming
  • 16gb dual-channel ₱2,600 (1.3k each)
  • (2nd-Hand) RX-470 or RX-570 4gb nsa ₱4,000 lang un..
  • BrandNew 500w True Rated PSU ₱2.3k

but most of those issues were already fixed AFAIK. :noidea:

Brand new.
Also, kung di din issue sayo gumamit ng used parts, consider mo yung used RX 570.

The rest okay naman na, imo.
