more than a ditty or a pretty prose earning praises
minute sentences that hold a deeper meaning
at times, could be the windows to our inner being.
my poems are more than what meets the eye.
what was once just mere thoughts and ideas
brought to life through paper and ink
immortalized in between pages
a lasting claim that one has once lived
a siren’s call to the coming ages.
my poems are the legacies I create.
written either to tell a tale
or reminisce and imagine the story we were not able to tell.
written to excite, to inspire
to ridicule and hurt
or to dare others
to live the dream
my poems will entrance you under a spell.
mere words but not limited to one meaning.
alive through the eyes of the one who is reading.
mere words but written with the hopes
that it could touch your lives.
