Cantenna for 3g modem signal booster (beta project)

Tama update natin itong thread at mag share ako ng mga antenna design and computation para maraming makinabang at i-optimize natin ang signal.
 
mga bossing, anu po ung computation tong cantenna.. may formula po ba?
 
OO may computation at may sinusunod na formula para makuha natin ang tamang wavelength hindi lang sa cantenna, kung hindi sa lahat ng antenna system. Specially dito sa gamit natin (what we call) Wifi ( wireless fidelity). It involves radio frequencies so to come up with the right length we use the formula as an example below:

300 x 10 +6 or 300,000,000 meters/sec---velocity of light

2,100 x 10 +8 or 2,100 mhz/2.1ghz radio frequency. Apparently 2100mhz is the frequency of HSDPA/3G

300/2100=0.142857 meter/142mm

Yan ang example on how to determine the length of an antenna.

@ ameritron.. wla po bang mas malinaw na asnwer.. di ko kasi naintidihan ee.. can u explain to me in one by one... o kaya may alam ka na website na may instruction don na one by one..
 
sir tanong kulang...kc mejo malpit lang ang tower ng smart samin eh...mga 40 na bhay ang dadaanan??bago mkapunta sa tower...ngayon tanong kulang po...kc ayaw ko na pkialamn ang smart broad band ko ts..gusto ko sana gmitin nlang ng us extention..kya khit wag na ok pba ang signal ko nun??wla nko ga2wing anuman..pls reply po ah...kc yung globe tlga wla smart meron nman po..
 
gusto ko sanang itry pero alang saksakan ng wire itong usb ko E153u-2 kasi :) un namang kaldero trick malabo ng magkaroon ng 3g signal ung canatena nalang pagasa ko pero pano lagyan manually ung mga E153 na modem dun sa loob pano lagyan ng wire iba kasi ung case ni sir diego sa isang link na binigay ni ts hindi ko malaman kung saan dun ung signal receiver ng E153 modem ko :noidea:

satisfied ka na po ba sa internet speed ng smart bro mo? kung ok naman at stable yung smart net dyan sa inyo eh wala ka ng dapat problemahin pero kung gusto mong magglobe at mahina yung signal nila dyan sa inyo subukan mo muna yung usb extension with signal booster if all else fails then tsaka ka na lang gumawa ng cantenna.. message mo na lang ako dito para matulungan kita sa ibang concerns mo. :thumbsup:

nabuksan mo na ba yung mismong modem? if yes pakipost na lang dito yung screenies niya para madetermine ko yung sasaksakan ng wire kasi wala akong mahanap sa net ng pics ng nakabukas na modem katulad sayo eh latest lang ata yung modem na yan.. :thumbsup:
 
ts maraming salamat sa feedback ah..hit nkita at sana maka feed back kpa sa lahat sa question ko ts..cge try ko muna ung smart..lapit lang kc eh..at yung globe pag sa cp gamit ko wala signal kailangan kupang lumabas para mkasagap try ko muna yung usb extention sa globe...salamat

Ang binigay kong example ay sa isang type na antenna lang. Ano ba ang iniisip mong antenna? There are so many formulas to be use on different types of antennas but the formula applications are all the same and it can not be defied any facts that the velocity of light divided by the frequency in khz,mhz, or ghz is applied.

And there are factors to be considered, the velocity factor which is always included in every computation of an antenna design.

Yung example na binigay ko ay computed sa fullwave length measurement. Ngayon kung omnidirectional antenna ang nasa isip mo hindi yung example ang gagamitin natin. Omni directional antenna's computation usually derived from 5/8 wavelength, 3/4 wave or 1/2 wavelength. Based on my experiences a multi collinear omni antenna is the best rather than the usual two stacked collinear.

By the way aishee20, do you have any background on electrical or electronics engineering? Kaya ko itinanong baka hindi ninyo maintindihan yung karamihan na gagamitin natin terminology sa Electronics and electrical engineering pero don't worry mag bibigay ako ng as much as possible lay man's term although it would be difficult, gusto ko lang makatulong because I've been in this endeavor for more than 35 years and I am still in it.

Simple lang ang cantenna it is a quarter wavelength antenna inserted in a can of milk or pineapple juice.

Here is the simple guide. Mag compute ka and bring out your calculator.

Formula:

300,000,000 meters per second = velocity of light

2,100mhz (megahertz) = 2 billion 100 million cycles per second radio frequency

Since the frequency is high at a range of microwave we should consider the connector losses, length of cable loss and the length of the radiator itself. We will assume the velocity factor to be 5% of the total length of the radiator. So computation should be :

300 X .95 = 285

so 285/2100 freq. in mhz

.1357m or 135.7mm fullwavelength less the 5% VF

.1357 / 4 to become quarter wave antenna

.0339m or 33.9mm length of the main radiator

TS hindi ako familiar sa mga device na yan but all I can say is sa left side ng pcture nandun yata ang transceiver. Meron ditong naka post na kung papano mag lalagay ng antenna diyan sa USB modem. Sayang hindi ko na save yung post matagal na yun eh...search na lang tayo.
 
Hindi on experiment kami ni ts sir sabi nya post ko daw ung internal pic ng modem ko para malaman nya kung ano dyan ung sagapan ng signal ung post kasi na ibang modem ung sinasabi mo hindi tugma sa location ng modem ko kumbaga magkaiba sila ng unit :D
Hintay ko lang si ts baka familiar sya sa mga ganitong unit :D
 
sinong gusto ibenta ung 3g modem nila na may cantenna? bilhin ko na po :) basta ung effective ha
