Hi, I was going to root my CM Blaze and after installing the drivers (using Win7 Ultimate 32 & 64 bit, on 2 different machines) none of them recognized the device... any solutions for this?

make sure na nafollow mo ng maigi ang TUT ni ceril.. if d parin eh i suggest na flash mo nlng ang jellybean na update via flash tool.. rooted na ang jellybean update na nilagay ni TS.. follow lng and sure yan na gagana...

check mo nlng sa first page ang TUT about sa jellybean update via flash tool...

pag mag update ako ng blaze ko from ICS to JB, mawawala ba mga data sa phone ko like installed apps and games?

salamat sa thread na to... dami kong natutunan.. Ask ko lang kung meron ba nabibili battery na 2000+ mah and kung may nbibili din bang housing nito sa cherry mobile? sobrang gasgas na kasi yung side and top nung sakin gawa ng coins sa bulsa ko.. salamat po sa sasagot

NEED HELP! nawala po yung 3G ng blaze ko.

nasa settings parin yung options pero hindi na siya nagana. GSM nalang po ngayon.

sana maymka tulong po sakin dyan.

dami kong casing nabili sa edsa rotonda tg 50 pesos lang haha pero yung battery wala pa akong nahanap, bumili na lang ako ng battery power bank sa cdr king, 2800 mAh 280php lg bili ko.

I tried to port custom ROM, but its an ICS version only.. there's no Jelly Bean yet..

The custom rom is really good, and i'll try to update and fix some bugs on it.

Guys, I ported a Custom ROM for our Blaze S180.. Though may problema pa.. Galing kasi sa isang MediaTek na phone from China, so Chinese yung ibang apps.. I am editing the System Apps already and converting them to English. (good thing may lahi akong Chinese at nakakaintindi at nakakapagbasa )

Some features:

1. ICS ROM v 4.0.4
2. Rooted
3. Longer Battery..
4. Custom themes (which can be download OTA)
5. Custom LockScreen (Themes available also OTA)
6. 4 Status Bar (Customizable)
7. New SMS app with Vibrate and Dual Sim support
8. Louder Volume (mas pinalakas pa!)
9. And Many More..
   

I need someone to make a custom boot logo for this ROM..
I need at least 204 Images para sa pag turn On.

PS: Sorry di ko kayo maturuan kung pano madetect ang device sa Recovery Mode.. pasensya na, focus muna ako sa ROM na ginagawa ko.

Gawa na pala symbianize ngayun ko lng na bisita..haha..

diko parin kase ma deodex yung phone ko..
pinadedelete sakin yung .odex file delete naman ako ng delete hanggang sa naubos na yung .odex file ko..tapos ang lumabas naman no odex file found.. ERROR
tung unu..anong mali dun TS?

FAQs

1. Is rooting legal?
   >Yes
2. Does ROOTING void our BLAZE's warranty?
   >No! Let me make it clear again- ROOTING WILL NOT VOID OUR WARRANTY!
   >Again ROOTING is legal.customizing, and deleting the BLOATWARE will void the warranty. When we modify or delete the BLOATWARE, we cannot be able to receive any OTA (Over the Air) updates coming from the Cherry Mobile. Rooting is REVERSIBLE unlike removing or modifying the BLOATWARE, it is not, unless we revert to the STOCK ROM.
3. How to UNROOT?
   >Reinstalling our STOCK ROM or a NANDROID Backup of our phones.
   
4. Can we root via stock recovery?
   >No. I am sorry to disappoint you but the stock recovery will always gives a "Signature Verification Error".
   Believe me, I have tried everything by signing the zip file, but still the same error.
   So the only way to root your phone is by following the post I posted below.

d ko pa naencounter ang problemang yan pagkatapos mag update pero try mo punta sa TWRP mo.. open mo mobile uncle na app.. tapos boot to recovery piliin mo... pag nsa recovery na, punta ka sa WIPE tsaka FACTORY RESET...

Sir bumili ako ng blaze, napansin ko 503 lang internal memory at mabilis ito mapuno... may nakita aq na post na pwede raw ilipat ung phone memory na 2gb into internal memory. thanks

oo yan nga..

eto po ginawa ko..

1. download ang mt657xReparition_EN.apk.rar
2. install then open..(nag automatic permission ang superuser click ok)
3. lumabas na xa..tapos may mga choices from 500mb to 3gb.
4. choose ko 3gb.
5. tapos reboot to recovery ko..clicked and reboot.
6. wipe data/factory reset
7. but before wiping from the first I tried to back up my data
8 back up from recovery mode => back up data or restore data
9. then wipe.
10. rebooted and then stocked up.
11. restore data..nothing happened

Di talaga madedetect ng PC ang Blaze sa Recovery Mode nito.. Sa TWRP oo, pero sa stock na recovery unrecognized talaga to.

hello, sinundan ko ang tut pero same din ang experience ko, kapag nasa recovery mode unrecognized/unknown device sya. ano ba dapat gawin d2 mga bossing? thanks

nag roroot kaba boss?
try mo to.. try mo di na punta sa recovery...


install driver for BLAZE in PC

enable debug in android phone

settings > developer option > always awake or stay awake

connect andoid via USB

open mtkdroidtools

wait for your device to be recognized

click root, bakup, recovery tab then click ROOT

if error occurs just click on ROOT again until successfull


yan lng ginawa ko noong araw na nagroot ako sa blaze ko
