Cherry mobile flare s3 power (voice call issue)

I bought a CHERRY MOBILE FLARE S3 POWER recently and I have a big problem. The screen turns off when making an outgoing call and doesn't come back. The only way to bring it back is if I'm going to turn off the phone and turn it back on by pressing the power button for about 15-30 seconds. I did a factory data reset and it's still doing the same thing. Cherry Mobile Customer Service says they can't fix it either and they will not replace the phone. Can anyone help me?

Im the user of same phone that you bought, sir.. And i experience that too.. What im doing is root the phone and install busybox, seeder, dont change the original rom.. Cant remember the other apps that i install..

Same here...rooted and installed busybox for a Lucky Patcher requirement..still random turning off of screen happens...maybe after the OTA update they have overlooked this erratic proximity sensor. CM has a very poor technical support, it's up to us to innovate and find solutions.

update muna ninyo ang software na stock rom medyo buggy kasi sa standard rom niya... tapos twrp and root ninyo agad, tutorial sa androidcribs.com... tapos niyan wla ng probs.. npakaganda ng flare s3 power

i think what you need to do is to adjust lock screen timeout

Hi guys.. I just recently bought flare s3 power.. May bug din sa cam yung hdr.. Ganun din ba sa inyo?
Ask ko rin po kung wala bang backlight ang home buttons? Later ko na lang kasi napansin yun.

Since na-root ko CM Flare S3 Power ko, nagkaganyan din po yung saken, nagbablack screen pag sinagot ang tawa at tumawag ka. Pero napansin ko, pag sinaksakan mo sya ng headset, bumabalik na sya. Anu kaya problema? Can anyone help? Kahit ibinalik ko sa unroot, ganun pa din ehhh. . . Help please. Salamat po.

Hanap ka ng iroot or vroot, madami naman jan, search mo na lang. Via PC yun ha. . .

s3power user din ako. and also had that problem.. but after firmware update di na masyado ngyayari yun. ITS a problem with the proximity sensor. KUNG ngyari sau yan swipe mo lang ng yung sensor sa taas. LEFT side ng speaker. THE screen will turn back on..

planning to buy that unit but based from your comments...mukhang dapat palipas na lang muna siguro til next update. Also, with bluefirefly's comment.... after firmware update na di na masyado nangyayari yung issue. "Di na masyado nangyayari" means its still a problem, tma po ba? Sana masolusyunan na agd ng CM.

s3power user din ako. and also had that problem.. but after firmware update di na masyado ngyayari yun. ITS a problem with the proximity sensor. KUNG ngyari sau yan swipe mo lang ng yung sensor sa taas. LEFT side ng speaker. THE screen will turn back on..

tama to ganito rin ginagawa ko sa unit ko, sensitive lang ung proximity sensor nya

Ayun!!! Eto ang nakasolve sa issue. yun palang proximity sensor, natatakpan ng screen protector. bale ginupit ko lang ng konte yung screen protector sa bandang upper left ng speaker para hindi matakpan yung proximity sensor (red dot) at okay na sya.. yehey!!! Thank you sir.

Nangyare din yan sa Power ko .. Binalik ko sa CM at pinalitan naman nila ng bagong unit ,at ok naman yung pinalit hindi na nagka problema.. Panu ba mag software update para ma fix yung HDR dun sa camera.. Need ba internet connection o pwedeng offline?

Fixed mine, installed Xposed, updated the framework, downloaded CallScreenFix module and activated it.
Of course my phone is rooted..

Pa help nman po~~~ lagi nag che-change ang mac address nang CM flare s3 power ko, everytime na i-off ko yung wifi nang phone tapos o-on ko ulit, nag babago ang mac adrress niya, at ang problema, nka mac filter yung wifi sa work ko, hehe na bebwesit ako kc lage nlang akong add ng add, pahingi po tulong pano mag stable yung mac adres nung phone ko

Paminsang problema:
> nag hahang yung phone, walang display pero nka ON,( kc rinig mo ang volume pag inadjust mo)
>HDR d gumagana, biglang mag co-close, (pero sa kakareset ko, mga pangalawang reset, gumagana na xa)
> wala bang ilaw yung home botton sa baba? (walang ilaw kc yung sakin)
