..ako minsan palang ako nanalo sa school namin hanggang Prissaa yata ......gusto ko pa matuto ng husto....kakasakit sa ulo....
Cnu nakakakilala kay prince mark aquino yata un.... International daw hehehe... Sya sana makakalaban ku doon sa Prissa kaya lang ...ang raming bagsak..... Pero nag tataka ako bakit sya parin kinukuha.. sa mga meets ...

Naalala ko pa nung baguhan pa lang ako sa chess, lagi ko ignore ung rooks ko. Nandun lang sila sa corner, nakatunganaga, nalulungkot. Kumbaga, paghindi mo sila ginamit, parang hindi mo ginamit ang bomba mo sa giyera. Ung game sa baba instructive siya, tingnan ninyo kung paano ginamit ng maayos ng isang chess grandmaster ang kanyang rooks sa pag pressure ng weak pawns. Ang weak pawns ay mga pawns na madali ma pressure.

This is an instructive game. Lagrave's rooks and queen are like the fists of a boxer throwing combination left and right against an opponent who could do nothing but defend. And in the end just like in boxing Lagrave delivers the final blow! On move 31 white played 31. Rg1 to pressure the g7 pawn on move 34 white's queen help pressuring g7 by 34.Qg4, on move 35. White switches on his pressure and turn his attention on the d pawn of black by 35.Qd1, it is like a boxer saying mate you have defended well your chin, but now I will turn my attention to your body!. And finally the deadly blow 49. Rxa5 which haste the destruction of black, black can't capture the rook because of 50. Rb7 with a deadly threat of mate. Lagrave's piece pressure is like a poetry in motion.

Paano halimbawa kung ang natitira na lang na pieces ay Queen sayo at may pawn ang kalaban mo na one move away from queening. Paano mo malalaman na draw or a win ang posisyon para sayo?Ikaw ang titira.

Queen vs pawn near promotion

Kapag ang pawn is one move away from queening, but it's his/her opponents turn to move, the ending is drawn with c and f pawns, or a and h pawns, only when the white king is outside a certain quadrant of squares. Otherwise white can force mate. While it's a win kapag ang pawn is either on b,d,e or g even if the king is far away.

Common Reasons Why Beginners Lose.

1) No board vision or tactical ability (can't see, prone to losing material,blunders )

2) Plays way too fast bangs the pieces down without looking at the board

3) Plays very dubious openings that are unsound all the time and breaks the principles behind good opening play

4) Doesn't play with a logical well thought out plan drifts move to move

5) Makes too many unnecessary Queen moves

6) No knowledge of the endgame or the essential ones every beginner should know

7) Doesn't know the basic checkmates or the typical mates and the correct technique to carry them out when they appear in front of him or her quickly with no guesswork

8. Grabs too many pawns indiscriminately

9) Goes on the attack before development is completed leaving his/her own King exposed to harassment and even mate

10) Makes too many pawn moves(without good reason) and creates poor pawn structure in the opening(without good reason).

11) Plays for traps or cheap gimmicks(that will leave the position at disadvantage) that anyone can see coming and refute
