how to make it to masters league at town hall seven without sniping town halls​

beginner's information

to successfully reach 2600+ trophies, a few simple requirements must be met. First off, you most definitely need these items:

Level 4+ air defenses
level 4+ balloons
level 4+ rage spells
level 2+ minions
level 2=dragons
air sweeper
seeking air mine
level 3+ castle
active clan

these requirements are just basic upgrades that a mid level th7 should have. You do not necessarily need to have all of these upgrades, but they will increase your odds tremendously.

Also, if you are a new town hall seven, i advise you to get these upgrades completed as soon as possible:


archers level 4
barbarians level 4
lighting level 4
storages maxed

these upgrades will help you get to crystal and beyond and also allow you to farm resources with ease.

army-silver

many town hall seven players hover near 1250 trophies, so i shall begin our journey here. Silver is the realm of barcher, farmers, and abandoned bases. Thus, i recommend you bring 60 barbarians 80 archers 30 minions as your army composition in this region. Your barbarians will tank for your ranged archers, and the minions will quickly destroy buildings beyond walls and help you get more percent damage. Some effective tutorial can be found on the internet on this army composition (also known as bam). Also, if you see any town hall snipes, do take them. Check your revenge log for snipes as well.

army-gold[

as you ascend into gold league, a beefier army is needed to get trophies. What i used was 16 giants, 3 healers, and the remaining capacity wizards. If you re still seeing simple bases, you can use barcher or bam still, but as you approach gold 1, those easy bases are harder to find. Also, this is where town hall eights farm, so be repared to promptly be revenged. By the way, if you have the spare elixir, the spells to bring with giant-wizard-healer are lightning spells-3 lightning spells level 4+ can destroy even a maxed air defense with correct placement.

army-crystal

for many town hall sevens, crystal three is the ceiling-not many town hall sevens push beyond crystal. Here, you receive your first substantial gem award if you haven't gone to crystal before. However, expect to be two starred within minutes of logging off... But if you set your device's to never close, and you move your screen every few minutes, your clash of clans account can remain "on" for many hours (this is highly important). Anyway, the army composition for crystal three-2300 or so is giant wizard healer with a dragon in your clan castle. By now, you should be a professional at giwihe, so early on you should gain trophies easy. As you reach crystal one, however, you should switch to the popular army composition that many trophy pushers use: Balloonion. This is why it is vital to have rage,loons, and minions maxed for th7. Word of warning:town hall seven loonion is risky, but with quality troop and spell placement and upgrades, you can push with this army as i did. Once you reach 2500, incorporate 1-2 dragons in place of some balloons to help you get the second star (and bring dragon in your clan castle). If you have a level 5 barbarian king, use him to destroy those pesky buffer buildings to help funnel your dragons and minion into the core.

army-masters

congratulations! You have gone where few town hall sevens have gone before-master league. I recommend pushing to around 2700 to allow you to keep your position in masters safe from the constant three starring you are faced with after every logging off. In this league, bring around 20 minions and the rest dragons with some loons or a dragon in your clan castle along with three rages to get those dragons into the center asap. Say goodbye to defense wins, snipes, and three stars. As your storages fill up, you can try using more dragons or more minions depending on your success with the suggested army composition.
How to defend

winning defenses is easy- if you have the right base. Early on in your push, a simple trophy pushing base can be found in my library of bases. However, once you reach crystal, the design mechanics favored by myself follow a simple principle: Trick the attacker into going where you want him to. To achieve this, i use a base with a hole in the center. This lures attackers into spawning troops into a well-defended mosh pit where he quickly will die. My current base is the one which works best in my opinion. If you need a variation on it, i message me n here and i will folow up soon. Also, have strong troops in your clan castle- i usually hold a mix of archers wizards and minions in mine.

clan basics

when you begin pushing, try to join a clan. An ideal clan for pushing has highly active players with upgrades less than two levels below maxed. Also, your clan should be level 3+, have war experience and skill, and no drama. These will give you what you need to push while letting you form a close bond with the active clan mates you meet. If you need a clan once you reach master, try a feeder clan to the savage seven family; they are professional at war and are very active, and the savage seven clans have prestige among even the top clashers. To flaunt your clanless master's ;eague town hall seven, i suggest switchng your language to norsk and going on the global chat in the evenings because in my experience, the champions tend to be on then and there.


conclusive remarks

this push will probably be the hardest push you have ever done, but the rewards of being in master's league in my opinion are worth it. The high league bonus, prestige, skills acquired, experience, enormous amount of gems gained, etc. Make it all seem right in the end. If you want to, push further and become the elite champion as a town hall seven. Or, boost your spell factory and zap the dark elixir storages for a loss until you are back into a league you are comfortable in. But for now, i suggest basking in the glory and taking a screenshot to provide as proof and to reminisce upon the accomplishment later on. Champion League - Loot Bonus Farming​

This works awesome after the latest update. Note that the old algorithm only applies to +3200 cups regardless of league:

Step 1: Pass the 3200 cups milestone to reach champion league.
Step 2: Leave the game to get attacked and drop below 3200 trophies so you can use the new algorithm.
Step 3: Snipe THs without paying attention to your current trophy count, using only your Hero and/or Archers if necessary.
Step 4: Once you pass 3200 cups, leave the game in order to get attacked so you drop below the threshold again.
Step 5: Repeat if necessary.

NOTE 1: You must lose a defense in order to drop below 3.2k but don't worry, even if you get pillaged, you will gain a lot more resources from league bonus than you lose.
NOTE 2: An average TH sniping session (getting 3200+ from ~3150) takes about 1 to 2 hours.
NOTE 3: Your resources will probably be maxed out before hitting the cups threshold.
