Reprogram/reformat/flashing
CM sapphire using V1 firmware to v2 unit TUT:
UPDATED Working on v2 also(january 6, 2015)
Note: wifi, FM radio and Bluetooth is not working after finish flashing

theyre testing for v2 at private group sa facebook nabasa ko lang
and I am still looking for V2

here we go:

Requirements:

1. Cherry mobile Sapphire v2 unit
2. Good Micro USB to USB cable
3. Spreadtrum driver download here you must have 4shared ac
4. Flash tool (Research Download) I am using this version download here
5. ROM (.pac file for spreadtrum device)
For V1 unit
For V2 unit
6. Windows PC/Laptop
7. Common sense.

Note: for windows 7 64bit and windows 8 up OS, disable Driver signature first (no need for 32bit windows XP)
I am using 64bit windows 7 pro and this is what i have done
restart PC/laptop press F8 continuously until you get the startup menu.
on startup menu you can see safe mode etc..
select Disable drivers signature enforcement (second to the last i think..)
and then it will boot up to windows OS now..
now you may also Disable drivers signature enforcement using cmd just to make sure..
run cmd as administrator
key in
bcdedit.exe /set NoIntergrityChecks On press enter
done

Step 1:
unzip and install corresponding driver what you have downloaded earlier 64x for 64bit OS so on..
PC might pop up msgs regarding the driver.. just allow the installation.
wait until finish

Step 2:
to check if successfully installed the driver:
open device manager (winkey+r or just simply run key in "devmgmt.msc" with out the quote)
click "Universal Bus Controllers"(where you can see installed USB matter hardwares.

remove battery from phone
connect USB from PC to Phone
Hold Vol- only
insert battery to phone
check device manager
while detecting device pc might pop up msgs regarding the driver.. just allow the installation. and device manger might flash several times.
check phone and any light must not turn on before the installation completes. if yes redo the step
yellow triangle must not be seen on "SPRD Com Enumerator" like this following SS, if yes redo this step

Step 3:
unzip and Open Research download Program
"\Research Download\ResearchDownload_2.9.8004\ResearchDownload_2.9.8004\Bin\ResearchDownload.exe"

click the load button (upper left of the RD window)

find the ROM/.pac file you have downloaded earlier I assume if you have

loading the pac file will take time wait for it..
after loading the file you will notice the ROM/.pac/firmware version on the upper part of the RD(Research Download) window

Now click settings next to load button

then goto back up tab as shown below uncheck all of them. (it will cause NV item error if theyre checked)

click ok after

Step 4:flash the Firmware
click on the start download button

remove battery from phone
connect USB from PC to Phone (make sure walang ibang usb na nakaatached sa PC like smartbro etc...)
Hold Vol- only
insert battery to phone

RD should start downloading after.
wait until it says passed. like this

then press stop downloading button next to start downloading button.
unplug usb cable
remove battery for 2s
put it back on
press power button.

Done

if not working pa rin sa bautrate na yan change mo nalang sa diferent bautrate. trail and error lang. jan ko kasi na discover ang problema ko sa stock sa logo.

there is no way but of course if you install launcher like kitkats launcher and to look like its kitkat but still it is JB. walang mag lalakas ng loob mag port ng OS para sa low end na phone hehehe

anyway search for 4.4 stock apps for 4.1 google it i have done mine but ill tell you theres no changes

e mga boss bkit ganun .. gumana nga sakin , nwala ung pattern lock tapos nabubuksan pero ung mga wireless katulad ng signal ng sim tsaka bluetooth at wifi ayaw .. bkit po kaya ganun ?? what should I do ?? please help tnx

Sir just use other version nang research download and surely tutuloy na yan... yung kulay yellow na research download ang gamitin nyo,,wag yung kulay blue ang skin.....same problem po tayu dati and now solve ko na problem ko with that other version of research download...celphone tech din po ako,,hehehe marami na pala tayu dito...

Ano version ng sapphire mo? 1 or 2?
if di mo alam papano malalaman ang version
makikita mo sa likod tangalin mo battery nakasulat dun kasama ng emei code may "V2" if v2 pag wala kang nakita it means V1 ka.

DL mo lang sa first page kung ano version ang cp mo.. yun ang i flash mo eto SS sa baba
