Hi all,

First time posting a question for a long time, I hope everyone’s doing fine. Kumusta? It’s good to post again in
Symbianize , err Mobilarian Forum after a while.

My question is hooking up my wireless microphone (available output: 3.5mm jack to 2 RCA audio jacks to receiver input) sorry, old school here . Microphone hooks up via V-Aux input mode in my Yamaha receiver. TV/monitor for Karaoke only has optical audio output which connects to optical audio in via AV5 on the receiver. My problem is every time friends come over for Karaoke, I can’t make audio from the TV and wireless microphone to work at the same time. This is mainly because they have separate input selections, one’s V-AUX and the others AVI5. Is there a way I can be able to use my microphone and TV audio at the same time and port on my receiver so they come out sounding decent? I have tried linking the mic to another receiver but the audio sounds weirdly detached. This is an old school setup: TV is Samsung 60” with HDMI (4 of them) IN only no out, same as audio and video jacks IN only, the only port going out is the optical cable which connects to the receiver. Receiver has HDMI IN and OUT, AV jacks IN and OUT and optical cable (2) IN, it also have a 3.5mm portable input jack and 3 video and audio jacks out front. Pasensiya na kung magulo description ko as I’m typing this on the train. :slap:
Attached below are screenshots of available jacks and ports of the TV and Receiver, I’ll try to grab a photo of the wireless mic as well. Should I get a simple mixer for my problem or is there a way to go around with whatever I have right now? Thank you in advance for the help!

PS: It’s good to be back! :praise:
