Re: How to get a job in Call Center? [questions, opinions & experiences are welcome h

Oy baka may nagwowork dito sa TechnoHub. Kahit ano'ng call center do'n. Magreresign na kasi ako sa Convergys Commonwealth. Refer n'yo ako please :)

naku girl malayo ako diyan sa area mo at wala akong alam or kakilala diyan.. :ashamed:

may kasama ko sa sykes dati na working student. sa pup sya nag aaral. awa naman ng diyos, inaadjust ng workforce yung sked nya. itinatapat yung rd nya pag may klase sya. tapos naghhalf day sya pag nagkataong umaga shift namin at may klase sya ng tanghali. yun nga lang maliit sweldo nya palagi. nasa pakiusp yan at syempre nasa company.

:wow: yeah you're right some gave consideration about your school schedule but it really depends on the company as well..

oopppss.. sorry, my bad.. hindi pala ikaw yun.. my apologies.. :slap:

guys may maisa-suggest ba kayo na CC na related or inclined sa medical field?

i think ACS in MOA has medical insurance account.. same with APAC in alabang.. but if you're looking for medical transcriptionist job, i don't have any idea.. :)

Re: How to get a job in Call Center? [questions, opinions & experiences are welcome h

1. I am a graduate of Accountancy but for some twist of fate I ended up working in the field of education. Although I can probably say that destiny has had a hand in this because I came from a family of educators. My parents are teachers; and so are my aunts, uncles and cousins. I also have a great a passion for writing and reading. And that may have helped me develop my fluency in English, which I believe, is a prerequisite for this job.

2. I believe I have the proper skills needed for the job. It is also my belief that the knowledge and experience I have acquired in my previous career would be beneficial to this company. In my previous job, I have experienced interacting with different kinds of people with different nationalities. And since a call center is people-oriented, these experiences of mine would be of great help.

certainly, you can go to the company as a walk-in applicant coz most of the company are hiring agents everyday so you can drop by to apply.. you just need to bring a resume and yourself of course.. :giggle:

hmmm.. i don't want to answer everything.. hehe! but i'll give you an idea on how to answer these questions.. :)

1. Tell me about yourself - just describe yourself in a positive way.. tell them your skills, achievements, strengths and background.. just give them an idea about yourself..

2. Why should we hire you? - answer it in an encouraging way.. give them examples of your strengths and skills that will qualify you to be hired by them..

3. Most honorable thing that you do. - well, based it on your experience..

4. Why do you need this job? What inspire you? - well, for me it's because of the compensation.. coz you'll gain enough money by working in bpo.. inspires me? my family.. :)

5. In your dream, what kind of job do you want? Why? - i can't think of an answer.. :slap:

6. What if i tell you that you failed the interview? - well, that's fine. If you think that i don't qualify for the job it's probably because that I lack something and for that I need to improve myself more. And even if i failed, I don't think I lose coz I learned something and I'll use that for my improvement..

** Just be constructive on your sentences coz they will be very particular to the communication skills during the interview. They don't really rely on the answers more often coz the plus factor is the way you talk to them. Practice more with your english so that you'll be able to get the job offer. ;)

"Hello? Sir, are you still there? Oooh. . . there you are! Sir, thank you for patiently waiting. I had a very refreshing experience in the comfort room. By the way, did you enjoy the music? You did? That's very nice to hear. Mr. Villame has a very soothing voice, won't you agree? Right. So. . . now let me answer the rest of your questions, sir."

3. The most honorable thing I did was to finish college without any failing grades. Now for some, it would be a very mundane thing; too ordinary to be an honorable thing to do. But for me, it was honorable because I have made a promise to my mother that I will give my best in college. And I am happy to say that I have fulfilled that promise. And by fulfilling that promise, I have done an honorable thing.

4. Like most of the people who have tried applying for a call center job, I was enticed by the lucrative remuneration. It is a known fact that call center employees generally have a higher salary bracket compared to daytime employees. I was not exactly inspired, like having, you know, that epiphany thing; but rather, I got the idea that given my proficiency in english, I think I will enjoy the job. I love to meet and interact with different kinds of people. Additionally, this would be a great opportunity for me to continually improve my English because I will be interacting with native speakers of the language. I like the fact that in a call center, you give something to the customers; you help them. And in turn, you get something from them; you learn from them. That's the kind of job that I like. There's a give and take relationship.

5. Even in my dreamworld, the kind of job that I like is quite simple. I like to be realistic whenever possible. What I want is a job that gives me an opportunity for growth, and a job that will pay me commensurate to what I give or contribute to the company. That is all I want in a job.

6. It's perfectly okay. It doesn't mean the end of the world for me. I'd be sad, I'll be honest. But then, that's life. However, I always believe in the saying that says, 'For every door that closes, a new window of opportunity opens.'

"Sir, is there anything else that I can help you with? No? Well then. . . Thank you for calling Unemployed Symbianizers Hotline, and have a great day ahead of you, sir."

Re: How to get a job in Call Center? [questions, opinions & experiences are welcome h

You have recently submitted a resume to NCO by email. After verification, we noticed that a candidate record corresponding to this email address already exists in our system. Therefore, the resume you sent us could not be processed.

We invite you to review the existing candidate record and update it, if necessary.
