sad to say, i cant resign on my present job yet because my co-workers already did it!

and my other workmate is going on a maternity leave!!!

hey what's up guys! been a long time.. haha i havent visited this thread for almost a year, i think.. but i learned a lot from this thread.. hehe im almost a year na in tech and billing support.. go over the past pages and learn.. sa mga mag aapply, good luck!! kaya nyo yan.. ako din nung nag apply last year undergrad 2 years also, BSIT... unfortunately magreresign ako this june 15 so, new job hunting adventure is fast approaching..

sa mga cc agents na babae na graveyardshift dito na 7yrs ng cc matanong lang kung nagkaroon na kayo ng sintomas sa breast. may narinig kasi ako na pag 6yrs ka nang graveyardshift may posibilidad na magkaroon ng sintomas sa suso lalo na yung mahilig mag yosi. may mag aatest ba dito sa ? ko. thanks

guys hello!! im ryan..frustrated po ako n mag apply sa cc int'l accnt dami n po ako naaplayan company lagapak lagi sa final interview..na inspired po ako sa inyong mga story..2 yrs n akong my experience sa local call center..pero ndi ako mtanggap sa int'l accnt..san po b my madali mapasukan n int'l accnt..pls reply leas and eshmie im looking forward for this..tnx!!

Hi there! I would like to share my experience with the bpo industry. I worked for four years in a call center environment. I have a piece of advice for those who are scared too scared to talk; try applying for a non voice first.

I have been in the non voice industry for three years. Then, while gathering experience from non voice, i kept on typing/encoding english/british accentuated people. I learned a lot hearing how they sound - their slangs and the way they behave when talking.

After those three long years, I applied for a voice position and luckily, I passed the interview.

Pros ng non voice:
1. Hindi nakakakaba kasi hindi mo kaharap yung kano
2. Hindi mo na kailangan ibuka ang bibig mo
3. Practice din ng grammar and sentence construction

Cons ng non voice:
1. Toxic: magttype ka buong magdamag
2. Salary wise, may ibang non voice na mataas and meron din mababa ang offer. But mostly, mas mababa ang non voice sa voice.

Companies to apply for: (suggestion lang po)
I wouldn't say na madali magapply and matanggap, pero accommodating sila when it comes to applicants.

STARTEK Philippines - voice account
Minsan nagugulat ako, kahit may accent ng probinsyano natatanggap. Dinaan sa lakas ng loob. Like ko etong company na to!

Accenture - non voice account
Medyo metikuloso ang hiring nila pero hindi ganoon katapang and parang okay lang ang interview at lahat. Friend ko nagwowork dito right now and mukhang ok naman sya dun.

guys trainer interview ko mmya 7pm sa The Result Company..sana mkapsa n ko..tingin last interview n to..di kc ako pumasa sa ops manager interview dito..sabi ieendorse dw ako sa telco accnt..after
2 wks tnxt ako my trainer interview dw ako..ndi n ko umasa kala ko di n ko ttwagan o ittxt nla..pero my konti p ko pag asa.sana pumasa n ko..try nyo mag appapply dito mdali lng process mabilis..pag bumagsak k bbigyan k pag asa sa ibang account..

Sa wakas n hired din ako sa intl call center...job offer ko n sa 15..sa The Results Co. Try nyo apply dun sa tiendesitas malapit..madali lng hiring process..virgin mobile un accnt ko..thank you Lord.....!!!!

HIi guys I'm back..sobrang naging busy lang sa work alam nyo na ang field natin is medyo mahirap.

Sa mga sumusubok mag apply at hindi natatanggap try and try lang guys, wag kayo malungkot kasi ako rin naman ganoon din way back 2004. Challenge yan guys lalo na at yung competition pagdating sa employment eh medyo pahigpit na ng pahigpit.

I have been working with SYKES Asia for almost 9 years and I can say that this company has done a lot. I'm one of those pioneer agent of CAPITAL ONE USA, and then I was rehired after my contract has expired. Basta magsikap lang guys mahalin nyo yung work and makisama hanggat maari gawin mo ang tama.

Yep. And tip ko sa inyo is agahan nyo ang apply. Mas maluwag ang hr nila sa umaga. hehe. And wag nyo itapat sa busy day and apply. ang offer dun is 14k + 2k sa probe for 6 months then increase pag regular na.

Advice ko lang sa mga nag babalak mag apply sa CC watch english movies, Remove Subtittle.
Watch there mouth while there Talking/Speaking.

Di po natin ma aacquire ang american accent ng sobra bilis. Pinoy tau
As long na trainable ka or kung my regional accent kaman di ganun kalala o katigas (Peace).
Makakapasa ka for sure.

Hanap din po kau ng mga bago mag oopen na campaign mas malaki po ang chance nyo na matanngap kagaad.

T - Task
A - Action
R - Result

Try nyo yan i Apply sa mga issagot nyo question for sure pag na apply nyo yan may chance kana makapasa sa interview.

naging busy na naman ako sa bago kong work.. thanks sa mga subscribers..

share na lang ako ng experience ko sa bago kong company..

during my application, nag-set na ng expectations ung recruitment at even ung Manager na nag-interview sakin about their extensive background check.. akala ko panakot lang nila un.. totoo pala kaya eto gumagawa ako ng letter of explanation to their HR for not declaring Teletech as one of my previous employer.. wish ko lang di ako ma-terminate.. hehe! ok kasi ung account.. dito ko lang naranasan ang bonggang avail.. maximum is more than an hour.. kaya masaya.. ung company di ko pa sure kung ok.. we'll see pag di nila ako tinanggal.. anyways marami namang company sa paligid.. kaya lang kakatamad ng mag-apply ulit..

for those who are still not able to get a job offer in a BPO, please don't lose hope.. hindi lahat ng veteran call center agents ay madaling nakapasok.. may mga pinagdaanan din kami sa pag-aaply.. ilang company din ang nag-reject ng application namin.. the good thing is pag nakapasok ka mas madali ng lumipat ng ibang BPO.. uso ang call center hopper at guilty ako jan.. marami ka kasing maririnig na ok ang offer sa kabilang company, magulo palakad nito, uso politika hindi lang sa gobyerno, may mga supervisors na nagpa-powertrip sa mga agents nila.. bawat company ay may kanya-kanyang issues eh.. sabi nga nila, "there is no perfect BPO company.." nasa iyo na lang yan kung paano ka makikisama at mag-stay sa company na pinasukan mo.. payo ko lang ay mag-stay kayo sa company at least for a year para mas mabango sa resume mo.. especially ung mga baguhan or tinatawag naming call center virgins.. akala nila madali ung work.. kaya marami ring nagre-resign agad.. anyways.. goodluck po sa mga applicants.. hopefully makakuha kayo ng offer sa magandang company,,

just want to ask how was the interview?

is it hard? what are the questions that they've asked you?

can you pm me the details regarding their hiring process?

i dont have any call center experience yet so i think it would be much more harder for me.
i have read that you have already worked on a local call center company so thats a plus factor for you.
