Re: How to get a job in Call Center? [questions, opinions & experiences are

Re: want to work in a BPO company???

one of the most stressful job but depende pa din sa account. Currently, i'm a tech support for almost 2 years na at account namin oks lng. Nag-avail kami minsan ng 40 min...maximum of 30 calls lng per day at mostly 15 to 20 calls lng talaga

TSR, kapag may na-involve na troubleshooting TSR na yun hehe. Pero ang iba kasing TSR aside from troubleshooting they're selling products pa

Customer service: Billing, Inquiry (how to's), Selling..

Re: want to work in a BPO company???

Hi guys, It's been 2 years now since I posted something here. I was once a newbie during those days. From doing more than 40 calls a day for my 1st BPO company, then more than 20 calls for my 2nd bpo and now I'm taking more or less 6 calls a day as part of IT helpdesk. Ang pagiging part ng industry na ito ay may improvement din kahit paano. Estudyante pa ko nung sa unang center ko tapos noong nakagraduate ako bumalik lang ako ng sandali and then nag apply for an IT post. So happy with my current kasi less calls na. Sa mga newbie, push lang po tayo. Maraming bpo company sa Pilipinas, malaya tayong itry lahat pero make sure na handa ka. Practice makes you better and near perfect. Aim High Kapatid.

Hey man, I can totally relate to your BPO experience. However, I didn't use to get more than 30 calls per day during my TSR days. The average was 17-20 calls on a good day when I was working for Dell. Oh boy, I can imagine the nightmare of getting 40 or more.
After working for 2years in BPO, I left the company and applied for an IT Helpdesk position which basic requirement is to have at least 2 years of technical background. Holyshit, it's very different than being a TSR/CSR. Mas magaan ang trabaho, mas malaki ang sweldo ng halos doble, mas maluwag ang palakaran at syempre, mas konti ang calls at troubleshooting.

Re: How to get a job in Call Center? [questions, opinions & experiences are

Help naman guys... :help: I applied today in Genpact Alabang. Also, hanggang saturdays ang work schedule nila so Sunday lang ang rest day. What do you think guys? Should I push through?

First time application ko 'to sa CC so wala pa ko masyado alam kung anong account ang mas suitable sa akin. Parang ang sabi ko I trust their judgement na lang. Mech. eng'g undergrad ako, almost 4 years din. Payo naman sa mga veterans natin jan. :praise: TIA and godspeed

Fuck no, man! If I were you, I'm going to turn their offer down and look somewhere else. There are lots of BPO companies that can absolutely offer something way better than that, believe me. Why am I saying this? Do I have a proof or living testimonials? When I 1st applied for a call center job in Makati they offered me a basic pay of 15k + 3.5k allowance, bale P18,500. For someone who doesn't have a work experience, I can say that it's a pretty good offer. It was my very 1st job, I had no technical background, no nothing. My English communication skills weren't even that impressive. Gwapo lang ako tapos bading yung interviewer. Kidding.

Do you know a little about computers? Apply for a Technical Support Representative then work your way up.
