How to make your own home solar. With Pictures + solar book

hmm para siyang i-Panda. SCC and PSWI inverter/charger in one.
It doesn't appear to be a grid tie.

similar to the PowerStar LF inverter it can be setup like a Automatic Transfer Switch once the battery level goes down. (as far as i can remeber may feature siya na ganun)
it can chrage the batts via AC as well.

ang maganda sa kanya yung charging function.
pero gusto ko malaman yung ibang components.

i wont spend that much money on something that has no info.

kaya for now, dun pa rin ako sa individual devices.

i am still hopeful na may readily available na hybrid system. wala e. gusto ko grid tie but charges the battery first (with limiter or may option not to export)

Sir glennjv…

Next project off grid ng lightings.

"3 Stage charging voltages look something like Bulk = 14.1, Absorb = 14.7, and Float = 13.2"

17ah at 30W panel sir.

Corrosion of the terminal can have several causes:
- your battery is often overcharged... very bad! You monitor closely the charging!
- the battery is in a humid environment or there is a great difference of temperature between day/night
- the copper wire is bad quality
- there is a defect of the battery at this terminal which let pass some acid

In all cases, you need to clean up properly the terminal with an iron brush and sand paper and then apply some Petroleum Jelly.
The current does not flow properly thru a corroded terminal!

... naka parallel connect ba two batts?... less than one year pa lang bumaba na ang capacity?... dahil kaya sa hindi equalize ang mga battery cells kasi magka-iba sila?... ma-revive pa kaya sila kung equalize charging separately?

try to charge my 100AH solar master with panther 7 stage 10,000mA (10amp) battery charger
battery reading before charging (12v) almost 50% left,
using Omni watt meter nalaman ko how much ang electric consumption ko using AC battery charger,
turn on the panther battery charger , omni watt meter reading for panther battery charger watts consumption 155w to 160w
total kwh consumption for 11hrs and 40min ( 1.2kwh) omni watt meter

Thanks... that's interesting to know for people who need to recharge thru charger... but seems to me it's a lot of electricity 1.2 Kw to recharge 50 amperes...

oops... your wires are really 2 small! Change them as soon as possible as you may end by damaging your setup!

total kwh consumption for 11hrs and 40min ( 1.2kwh) omni watt meter - dmb101

… sir dmb100 are you trying to tell us that it is CHEAPER to charge a 100AH battery by using AC battery charger rather than by solar panel?... (as proven by the omni watt meter)… do you want to ask if we agree or not?

mam yung sa akin, meron akong akong apat na mahabang no.16 stranded wire, yung 4 na stranded no.16 ginawa ko lang dalawang linya, para sa 100w panel

Yes, even 4 x #16 it's too small and not good at all to have this kind of wiring... dapat solid wire #10: it's safer and you will not have a loss of current... with your wiring, your panels cannot charge properly your bat because of the loss in the wires...

mam yung extension double wire na no.16 kapag pinag isa ang dalawa ay magiging #awg no.8 na,plus yung isa pang stranded wire no.8,kapag pinag isa ang dalawang no.8 ay magiging #awg no.4,kaya meron akong dalawang #awg no.4 na wire para sa dalawang linya, tama po ba?kung solid wire ano pagkakaiba nito?
parang ganito;
2 wire no.16 x parallel connection=no.8
2wire no.8 x parallel connection=no.4
