Hi, I'm new here. First things first. I just bought my Smart Bro Rocket Plug-it directly from their centers and while browsing through this thread, I read that they might still be "unlocked."

So... Hindi ako sigurado kung ano ibig sabihin ng "unlocked." And kung unlocked man or locked 'yung nabili ko, paano ko malalaman?

I hope someone can enlighten me about this. Thanks!

pwede ka rin mag unlock ng modem kaso mag babayad ka ng credits sa DC unlocker para magawa mo yun. yung mga ibang tutorial dito hindi naman gumagana sa modem natin.

pero mas praktikal na yung sa Greenhills 100-200 lang unlocked na agad.

Unlocked modem = pwede mong gamitin kahit anong sim (smart, globe and sun)

usually ang mga modem kung sino ang provider eh naka locked sa kanila. tignan mo muna ang model ng E353 mo baka unlocked na yan. may mga E353 si smart ng unlocked na

pinaka simpleng way para malaman kung unlocked yang nbili mo is lagyan mo ng sim ng globe, if ma recognize nya ung sim ng globe at magamit mo sya, it means unlocked yang nabili mo

and dont worry if locked yan, tulad ng sabi nila, ung e353 is uspported na ng dc unlocker at meron din daw sa greenhills so you have option to unlocked it

hello, lagi kase sira 3g dito saamin sa tarlac city areaa walang download packet receive kaya naiinis ako nasasayang load ko bago pa naman ung 3g modem ko e153, tanong ko lang kung sira ba 3g sira din ba 4g? kase balak ko mag upgrade sa e353 para di na iinterrupt ang internet connection ko at nasasayang load ko, thanks po.

excuse po mga ka e353 users... may nakaka experience po ba sa inyo using any Globe sim na minsan 0.0 kbps ang download pag nagcoconnect sa dashboard pero sa upload rate mayroon, pero pag smart sim gamitin ko ok naman nakakaconnect naman ako.

May I suggest to the TS as well as to those who input updates in the first page/first post that every time an update is being done to the post, accompany it with the date of update so that newbies have an idea on the age of the posts and links.

This is to avoid uncertainty on the part of the newbies which lead to redundant questions.

eto sir, tignan mo size ng DL ko, e353 gamit ko, wala pa 4g yan

Parehas lang pala sa Flash 4G ko, hindi talaga lalampas sa 8mbps kahit ang E353 up to 12mbps..

Limit talaga ng Globo prepaid sim is 7mbps..

Ganyan din speed ang nakukuha ko sa E357 with VPN wala ding HSPA+ dito sa amin..

Magpapalit sana ako ng E353 kaso parehas lang din pala kapag globo sim ang gamit..
