Internet shop connection prob. Pls help!

GOOD DAY MGA KA SYMB. nais ko lng po humingi ng tulong about my internet connection.

Meron po akong computer shop and 11units lahat including server. ang connection ko is 5mbps PLDT. TP-Link1016D lang yung router 16ports.

Ang main problem is pag may naglalaro ng LoL or Dota 2 (yan lng kase game dto sa shop) nag lalag sila pag may nag load ng facebook. Nag ping ako sa garena.ph ang ping is 22 lang pero bglang tataas sa 200 ng mga pito o walong beses tapos babalik sa 22. merong naka wifi dto sa bahay pero sinubukan ko sya i off tapos tngnan ko kung mag lalag pa mga players ko. At nag lalag pa din sila. nag set ako ng handy cafe filter since handy cafe ang timer ko pero ganun pa dn. nag set dn ako ng netlimiter PER PC pero ganun pa dn kahit i limit ko sa 100 per unit. kahit 50kbps per unit lag pdn. ano kaya ang solution dto? almost 1yr na tong shop ko at until now hnd ko pa dn magawan ng paraan. i really need help.

hmm yung akin ay 6 lang at ang connection ko ay plan 999 lang ng pldt ultera pero so far ok naman ang lol pag sabay sabay sila naglalaro + me facebook sa background yun ha!bawal sa shop ko ang watching videos yun kasi ang malakas kumain ng bandwidth,,,,wag muna buksan ang wifi mo tol at bawal din ang download ha!

it could be just your computer. maybe someone embedded some apps that eats your internet. I suggest you format and use deep freeze.

pa setup mo yung internet mo sa mga nagseset ng computer shop, alam ko about yan sa QOS or bandwidth management or something similar

Try mo, mag dagdag ng prioritization per IP. Set mo ang IP ng LOL at Dota2/garena to highest priority.

pano po i setup yung ip prioritization? kase ang nagawa ko lng dto is netbalancer for browsing. naka limit sila ng 100kb per PC. pag ginawa ko kaseng 50kbps per PC sobrang bagal naman ng browsing nila.

What is the model of your DLINK router?

Sir CGurado ka router yan or switch lang,, parang switch lang 16 port.. Bili ka nlang load balancer na tplink router nsa 4k plus yata un.. tapos i confige u lang ng mabuti,,

As rznglc stated, the TP-Link you mentioned is a 16-port switch. Its possible that the equipment that your ISP provided for your internet connection is a modem/router. Lets start off with that. What is your ISP and what brand/model of modem do you have? Its possible that it already has a built-in QOS feature in it.

300Mbps WLAN ADSL2+ (PLDT 5mbps) thats my router model from my ISP. and i have 16 port TP-Link1016D. kahit walang nanonood ng video sa fb naglalag mga players ko basta puno yung shop katulad sa mga oras na to specially LoL (League Of Legends) players. nag sspike ping sila from 22 to 109 bgla. what should i do? pls help.

up ntin... same problem krin. pldt 5mb, tp link router model WR 1043ND 4 port, at tplink switch 8 port gmit ko sa 8 units.

Browse mo sir ang Router mo.. gawin mo Bridge connection ang modem ng pldt... ung user at pass ng WAN ng PLDT dun mo ilagay sa Router m. then set up m ang QOS ng router mo.. limit mo yung speed ng down at up.. hit thanks kung nka tulong

sir pasensya na po. wala po kaseng ganun yung gamit kong TP-Link1016D eh. hnd katulad nung iba na merong limiter. katulad nung tnutukoy mo. may kamahalan kc un hnd na pasok sa budget nung bumili ako ng mga unit. any ways salamat po sa comment

Is this by any chance the router that you have? TP-Link TD-W8961ND

Based sa features ng router mo, TP-Link WR1043ND has Bandwidth Control.

You have to understand that controlling bandwidth is not an exact science. And its not gonna make everything faster. You will have to choose which connections will be given a bigger chunk of your overall bandwidth that others. You have to continuously tweak your settings to conform to your needs and situation. There is also the brand and model of the router that you have. Different router brands with QOS / Bandwidth Control deals with connections differently. Some are more efficient than others.

We first need to gather information about your connection:

1. Go to Speedtest.Net/ and test your download and upload speed. You have to run it a couple of times and write down the results. For a more accurate result, connect a computer directly into your DSL modem then run the speed test a couple of times.
2. List down the websites that are frequently accessed in your shop as well as the online games.
