Re: Lenovo A60+ -Official Users Thread- "Rooting Instruction + Google Playstore Fix
Guys I managed
to make Link2SD work for Stock firmware para magkaron tayo ng malaking natitirang Internal Memory.
The apk and scripts are not mine.
Preparations:
You must have rooted Lenovo A60+.
You must have CWM Recovery na.
Download the apk attachment in this post and put it in your sdcard root folder.
Its better na CWM magpartition ng sdcard.
Boot into CWM Recovery and Partition your Sdcard (If you have 2 gb make the partition only 512MB but if you use 4GB make it 1Gb)
For Swap partition give it 32mb for future use. BTW, if your Sdcard has been previously partitioned you must use Minitool Partition Wizard to delete the whole partitions to gain the "true" size of your sdcard kasi if not liliit ang sdcard mo using CWM.
Reboot.
METHOD 1. APK Method
Step 1. Install the apk you have downloaded (Uni-init). Open it and click the "Activate" button. Wait for the app to say "Done" before clicking the "Verify" button. This app will install the mounting script para mamount yung SD-EXT partition.
Step 2. This is important. Reboot your device three times for the script to truly work kasi minsan di nagwowork o kaya mawawala mga apps mo especially ang Playstore. (Dont blame me ok. Just be ready to flash your rom again in case).
Step 3. Download and install LINK2SD from playstore. By the way if you lost your playstore you can go to browser and type getapk.co and then enter and install a new black market app where you can d/l Link2sd and perhaps a zillion more paid apps
Step 4. Run Link2SD and wait if it says "Link2SD has installed a script" then you are successful in mounting your SD-EXT partition. If it did not work you will have to use the SH method below.
Step 5. Reboot the phone and afterwards run Link2SD again and it will ask what partition file system to use... CHOOSE EXT2 format and reboot again. That's it after reboot Link2sd will be working and you can transfer manually previously installed files to SD-EXT or you can choose Auto-link in Link2SD Settings.
METHOD 2. SH method.
You will need to have
a. a working Busybox. You will also need to download and install b. Android Terminal Emulator from the market.
Steps:
1. Download the term-init.rar file attached below and extract the "term-init.sh" file inside and put it in your Sdcard root.
2. Open Android Terminal Emulator and type "su" without quotes and press enter.
3. Type "sh /sdcard/term-init.sh
4. If your Busybox is working just follow the steps stated on the terminal until it is done or finished. (Note if your Busybox does not work the sh file will not work . Try flashing the Su-Bbox file on the attachment using CWM (Install zip from sdcard) and go back to step 2 after reboot.)
5. Important: Reboot your device at least three times.
Step 5. Download and install LINK2SD from playstore. By the way if you lost your playstore you can go to browser and type getapk.co and then enter and install a new black market app where you can d/l Link2sd and perhaps a zillion more paid apps
Step 6. Run Link2SD and wait if it says "Link2SD has installed a script" then you are successful in mounting your SD-EXT partition. If it did not work you will have to use the SH method below.
Step 7.
Note that these steps worked for me and it may not work for you. Worse it will kill your phone and you will have to flash a new rom again. Dare follow the steps as you wish
Do not even try S2E on your phone or you will end up losing apps everytime you reboot. S2E is only for CM roms.
