DMA = Direct Memory Access
it helps you to speed up data access... some games requires DMA.. (for example is suikoden tierkreis. if you dont turn on DMA on that game. expect hangs up on the game because your card is way too slow to compensate to load the game)
Turning on DMA by default wont do harm in anyway(rather it will do more better if you compare it to legit carts). But some games detects data speed *AP symptom* so you might need to turn off DMA on that matter.
PSRAM - parang adhoc play ng .gba games - limited lang ito as you cannot run 32mb games in PSRAM
NOR - parang iburn mo yung .gba para mg-act as GBA game pak parang gnun.
Lam ko mas maeexplain ni dnniwa to hehehe
@arjaylight...
eto mas detailed explanation..
* PSRAM (Programmable Static Random Access Memory) - You can think this as a RAM (aka "Extended RAM" parang sa Opera Memory pack sa NDS)
You can store any information here in this memory temporarily.. so once you turned off your NDS. The data content will be gone.. What is the difference between ordinary RAM in PC with PSRAM?.. PSRAM has a PRogrammable code that can be used in GBA to boot GBA Games. RAM in PC RAM is a empty memory.
* NOR Mode (sa 3-in-1 pack)
- You can dump games in this memory without loosing the dumped GBA game(the game wont loose until you formatted the NOR memory). You can think this as a High Speed Flash Memory (either it just uses Flash Memory though.. yung mga Chips sa flash drive natin.)
* SRAM
- This is were our save files stored in GBA mode. Note. 3-in-1+ has a built in Rechargeable Battery (only in 3-in-1+) and you'll notice that the NDS drains the battery too quick.

Dumping speed:
PSRAM Mode: 1mbps speed
- Dump GBA games 32mb for example. Within 32seconds
NOR mode: 178kbps
- Dump GBA games 32mb will take 15-20mins...
Note: Kung temporary nyo lang naman siya lalaruin.. mas maganda na gamitin nyo yung PSRAM (pero limited lang tayu with 16mb for old edition 3-in1 and 32mb naman sa mga bagong versions nang 3-in-1)
