Need Confirmation sa mga Experts (4g external Antenna)

I do have a Globe Home wifi Prepaid modem (huawei b310As-938) it means Globe Lock lang sya and ang GUI nya is exclusively-Globe (not full admin).

My LTE gives me only up to 8dbi of LTE signal quality. I wanted to increase it by putting an External antenna but i cant seems find an option on admin portal with regards to antenna settings.

but before buying it, i called the supplier to inquire if my modem was capable of detecting that kind of antenna. They said, it will automatically be detected as external antenna once i put it in.

Are they saying the truth? Or is it only a marketing strategy? im a bit hesitant to buy it coz im afraid it might not be detected by my modem since my modem is globe locked.

Can any person with this kind of expertise can confirm this? coz im badly needed a dbi increase.

Mag 18 dbi ka nalang ng globe antenna. And yes it will be automatically detected once na nakasaksak na yung antenna sa modem. Pero wag mag expect na sobrang ma boboost yung speed kasi naka 700mhz lte na ang 938. Konting improvement lang mararamdaman mo and stability

share ko lg mga paps meron akong antenna yung gemini ultra ...sa probinsya ako 16dbi lg sya pero stable na net ko unlike before na pawala wala using stock antenna...

yun kayang na 00rder ke LAZADA na 18dbi na antenna ubra salpak lang ? tnx sa sasagot..kahit wala ngang full admin access tong b310as-938 tnx sa sasagot at gumagamit ng external antenna sa b310as.. mahal din kase yung YAGI sayang naman kung bibilin ko di naman pala pwede.. ^^

Gemini Ultra MIMO Sector Antenna 2x16dbi working po yan 100% tested na po. medyo mahal compare sa yagi, pero dual polarity na yan.
proven and tested base in my experience. Gemini MIMO Panel Antenna 2x9dbi hindi po sya working sa b310 na naka lock sa globe.
Yagi antenna hindi ko po na try.

Mas malakas ang signal kung built in lang ang antenna

Ayaw ma detect kapag naka AUTO sa Antenna setting. Kapag ginawang 1 external 1 built in mas humihina SINR

Wala pa ata supported external antenna for 938. I have both 936 and 938 sadly hindi gumagana ung mimo antenna ng 936 ko sa 938, mas malakas pa pag baka built in lang antenna ni 938. Naka admin access ako s 938 nga pala. Naghahanap din aq ng external antenna ng 938

Patambay po dito ts, b310As-938 din modem ko at naghahanap rin ako ng external antenna na pwede dito. nag try ako ng unknwon name na external antenna pero humina lalo ang signal. hehe

May mimo 18dbi v3 antenna na ako. Tanong ko lang po kung recommended na bawasan yung 15 meters cable nya gawing 10meters? Pano yung tamang pagputol at kabit? TIA sa makakasagot po
