Nokia X Users

I went through the forums using the search option at wala pa akong nakitang thread ng mga Nokia X users.

The nokia X is the first android phone from the nokia phone line with low specs in my opinion but still performs relatively well.

Any other Nokia X users here? What are your thoughts on this phone?

Same here nokia X user din ako, rooted na.

nga pla wag kayong maginstall ng chainfire3d bootloop ang sa phone nyo.

Bakit naman? Is there a problem with chainfire3d?

I'm really waiting for Cyanogenmod para sa nokia X.

basta hindi siya compatible sa chainfire. pagnainstallan nyo yan masstuck sya sa bootloop. i had to install a custom rom. pero naibalik ko din yung original nyang rom. dami pang mga bug ang mga custom roms na available sa nokia x. hindi pa nila nafifix. the best pa rin yung custom rom. problema lang ang liit ng memory nya para sa games.

Yeah, I agree with the storage problem. Lalo na't hindi ka pwede mag move ng apps sa memory card mismo.

BTW may new update na pala, kanina ko lang nakita. Nokia X 1.2.4.1, may mga bagong features. Check niyo

check mo nalang sa specs nya bro. tsaka yung katumbas nyang price sa HTC, Samsung, etc.. kasi mahirap din bka ako sisihin mo pag hindi mo sya nagustuhan.. hehe..
plan kasi tong nokia x ko 450 1year sa suncellular.

@zeldascorn check ko new update nila ngayon.. hehe good news yan ahh.. kaya lang rooted tong gamit ko baka nde pwede iupdate pag rooted na.

Im nokia user din kaso ayaw gumana ung ussd code version 2 skn nka roaming po aq any suggestion?pnu kya mpagana kc ayaw mka pg input ng word.

@teng I have rooted my phone when it still was at 1.1. Nakapagupdate naman ako kaso ayaw mauninstall yung superuser. Need maroot ulit phone ko. Any links for rooting 1.2.4?

@takatomutsu I'm not familiar with USSD codes, pwede mo bang iexplain further yung problem mo, maybe i can help you out.

@bachquims It's a cheap android phone but a sturdy one, kasi NOKIA eh, heheh. The only downside sa phone na ito is yung low RAM, which is only 512mb, at walang front facing camera. I suggest you go with the NOKIA XL kung gusto mo talaga itong series na ito. Pero so far, i recommend the NOKIA X to anyone looking for a budget android phone that performs pretty well.

naupdate ko na phone ko sa 1.2.4.1 pero nawala ang SU binary ko. pero okey na cya ngayon naroot ko ulit. hindi ko na iniuninstall yung dati kong super SU. kasi ginawa ko syang system app para nde madelete tsaka kasi Pro yung super SU ko. eto yung link : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2746370

just turn on usb debugging tapos turn off your phone then open the nokia x manager application then plug in your device using the data cable. ppunta ka sa recovery click mo lang yung "Root Device" kung meron ka ng dating super Su. gagana na yun. dahil kasi sa update natanggal yung SU binary ng phone. Once nainstall mo yung SU binary gagana na ulit yung super SU app mo.

May balak din ako bumile, maganda na ba ito for android, pwede ba dito wifi kill? Naroroot din ba ito? Madale ba iroot? Sa battery tumatagal ba? Pag nabrick may factory reset ba? Malag ba sya pag ginagamet? May x2 na ba? Magkano x 2. 0? Pwede ba sa freenet yung mgc?

Yung x+ may kasamang sd card and 768 ang ram.

Yup Tried it pero tinanggal ko din kasi dalawa naman phone ko ginagawa ko nlng pag may type akong app sa googleplay download ko via other phone then lucky patcher then transfer it via Bluetooth. okey din naman kasi ang mga apps sa nokia store.

BTW pwede iswap yung sdcard0 sa sdcard1. para malaro yung mga games na matataas ang kinakain na storage. Since hindi naman pwede ilipat ang apps sa external sd.
