Gen. 9:3 We might ask "was God giving Noah permission to eat snakes, rats, alligators?" Certainly not brad! Noah already knew the difference between clean and unclean foods (Gen. 7:2) God was simply making statement, "Noah, you may eat flesh foods." The evidence for this is that God clearly forbade unclean animals later in both Lev. 11 and Deut. 14.
Since God does not change His moral standards (Psalms 89:34) and since God's character does not change (Mal. 3:6) He did not give permission to Noah to do something He forbade to Moses to do.
All God's law including those relating to health were given in love to reduce disease and increase hapiness (Ex. 15:26).
Many in the scientific community recognize that the health principle of the bible can significantly assist in reducng bot heart diseas and cancer. God's ways are best mga kaibigan ko.
Kanina during our divine worship, i was truly blessed by the testimony of a 50 year old woman preacher. She was a doctor of pedriatics, but seriously suffered from cancer several years ago because of this forbidden food. Shes a devout catholic, methodist, baptist and aglipayan until she decided to be baptized to sda 3 years ago by just watching 3ABN program. She truly amazed the healthy lifestyle and biblical doctrines of sda whereas other religions dont have.
