Hi po,

Im using a 5 yr old camera po bigay nung sis ko. Nikon d3100 with kit lens and i can say that okay naman sya as long as you know your basics sa photography. Although it would be better din to get mga latest cameras since they have more features. Would be best to ask sa mga masters dito since for sure alam nila the best for you. Goodluck!

Hi po,

Mag ask lng po sana ako for suggestions, tips panu mg take photos sa night prosesyon po this coming holy week? Using a nikon d3100 with kit lens lng po.
Panu po ma avoid like to much noise, saka sa white balance since mostly yellow lights.
Any help would be appreciated po. Thanks!

I think mahirap pag kitlens lang ang gamit considering the amount of light sa gabi tapos moving pa ang subjects kasi nga prosesyon ..better use bright lens with large aperture.

night shoot using d3100 & kitlens? di ba ubra flash?babaan mo na lang yung output.
kaya siguro up to 3200 iso nyan. d5100 ko may nakukuha akong usable/good shots @3200.
pag prusisyon naman may kandila so hindi talagang dark.
when all else fails, convert your shots to black and white. ^_^

If you are dead serious to be a photographer then buy something that you can afford. If you can buy a high end camera then do it or if you can buy a mid level semi professional camera then do it and so on. I don't think it's wise to buy an entry level camera then upgrade as your skills improve. It's just a waste of money so better buy a camera that you can afford. But if you are only in it as a hobby and you think you'll get tired of it eventually then that's when you buy an entry level camera because it's more economical.

Agree. Nowadays better na bumili mga d7000 or 70D.Mas maigi kesa magstart ka sa entry level bodies. Or kahit mirrorless. Just invest sa maayos na lens. Primes na agad.
