i got a Canon XSi... sold my Canon 70-300mm and Canon 50mm f/1.8 and upgraded to Canon 100mm macro f/2.8 and Canon 50mm f/1.4... then recently sold my Canon 18-55mm IS kit lens and upgraded to Canon 18-200mm IS as my walkaround lens.

the 50mm f/1.8 is about $90. it's a really good practice lens for its price.

i've just been googling and reading online. watching tutorials in youtube as well. just keep practicing.

ang yaman mo pala kita agad sa mga lens mo di mapagkakaila almost 500bucks kase yung 100mm macro yung prime around 300bucks + ung 18-200mm mga 500bucks din ata ako siguro once a year lang makakabili ng lens

graveh pamatay yung mga lens ni miss dayene at pamatay din yung unit ng camera....infairness kinakareer ni mam dayene at pagpopost ng pics dito sa symbianize......salamat sa interest at sa walang sawang pagsuporta sa thread na toh!!!!

ano unit at mga lens mo bro?magkano bili mo sa 50mm? gaganda ng shots! youre a lot ahead of us tips naman diyan para magkaron din ng mga photos ng tulad ng sayo

napakahumble naman nitong si vaio....maganda din ang mga shots mo bro....heheheh!!!

Basta always remember nalang natin ang motto ng mga photographers

well, i'm broke now. lol. it's easy to get gears here coz you can finance it or get it from craigslist.org new/used. i had to sell my other stuffs to upgrade and i get my filters and little things from ebay to save more.

i'll be using those for a long time before upgrading to L lenses. i have to make sure i stay at this hobby... still testing the water.

fico, a member here, showed me this thread so i thought of adding my pictures here to get more tips to make them better.

i'm still really learning and wish i can take more pictures. it's a bit hard to find nice spots here.

haha. that's so true. i'm not a creative person so i'm learning by going through pictures in flickr and try to practice on getting the pictures i like in there. i've been reading on here also: www.kenrockwell.com. i need to learn photoshop as well.

ako di ko pa din alam kung ano bibilin kong lens na susunod.ayusin ko muna mga shots ko basa muna ng mga ebooks pero baka ang susunod kong bibilin ay ung 55-200mm,saka ilang filter na affordable ang gusto ko kase malaman ay kung gaano ang difference ng image quality ng sigma/tamron sa nikon/canon lens

meron din cguro dyan pafs.mahirap lang kumuha dito pag dslr gamit mo bawal kasi pero pag point & shoot nman di na pinapansin.
