mga sirs, im back again.. sorry pero ano po ung BDEMU? para saan sya? so far lahat naman ng games nalalaro ko if not directly eh using select + x sa multiman..

by the way po, ung sa showtime, pano po magpplay ng videos after splitting them up using split4g? is it done automatically by showtime? no need to merge the file once it reaches the external HDD or upon external HDD <-> PS3 connection when playing the video? thanks!

i can guess na gumagamit ka nang geohot or wanin... revert ka muna sa kmeaw.. and switch iris para maiwasan na ang data corruption.

A.CFW is a term for Custom FirmWare. Which mean in PS3... it enables your console with custom made settings or hacks applied on the software update file.

B.Google lang po.. or just follow the links found on page 1... nandun po yung kelangan mo.. or just backread a few pages here... makaka kita ka nang mga definite links.

well... marami talagang gamit yung iris manager...

did you know that kung puro nasa internal HDD mo yung mga games, and there are games na kelangan nasa external para umandar ehh pwede nang paandarin using a simple USB Flash Stick... yun yung gamit nang "external eboot"... with that you can boot games na nasa internal HDD without copying the game to external... galing no, di mo makikita sa iba yan. Other thing is that, meron pang "Game Installation" path redirection, so pwede mo na rin i-install yung mga games na requires nang mandatory HDD install through external HDD... another unique feature, and of course... last but not the least.. yung 4GB game cache booting, you can now play games larger than 4gb files sa external HDD with this feature. And I think i-enhance pa nila yan.. especially yung FTP service ni Iris kasi buggy pa.. aside from buggy FTP.. everything works fine... the code is written in full source code/open source codes...

thanks to D_Skywalk(Developer who ported Hemes Manager 1.5 to 3.55 and now called Iris Manager) and drittzn (Developer, co-developer of Iris Manager who fixed many things in Iris Manager... and also the creator of Rogero Manager). And both of them hates Closed Projects that supposed to be open.. like the case in multiMAN (a Open Manager based program that is fully open source code under GPL), oh yes multiMAN is now opensource, but hey, he only did release the source code when most of the dev's and or programmers whining about multiMAN being a closed source project.

meron ako iris manager. nag try ako mag laro ng red dead redemption na may more than 4gb na file. di ko malaman kung pano ko mapapagana. btw naka split file ang red dead ko sa external.

ano ba procedure para gumana yun?

read lang po yung readme file dun sa archive nang Iris Manager... but basically.. kelangan mo lagyan nang underscore "_" pra mapagana yan... then mag ask yung Iris Manager to cache the file.. wait a minute then.. ayan malalaro mo na.

try tignan na lang ang package kung meron label sa specification like.. 5400rpm... since yan ;lang makakapag sabi kung platter HDD siya.

or try mo hawakan yung HDD... kung may nararamdaman ka kahit sign of spin or vibration sa unit... platter drive yan.

Onga pala. Na Jailbreak ko na yung PS3 ko.
Nalagyan ko narin ng Iris Manager.

Problema nalang e wala pa kong nasusubukang games. xD

eto yung mga factors na dapat tignan sa isang external HDD.. pero etp muna:

Note: Avoid Western Digital Portable HDD. Im telling you, sakit sa ulo yan, lalo na yung time to sleep when idle feature niya.. tae yan

- See if there's a spin down feature on the HDD. Or if there's a spin down feature, make sure that there's a way to turn that off.

- Power requirements must be lower than 0.8amps (ako na rin magsasabi sa inyo... pag sinaksak niyo yan at nasa 0.9amps or above power requirements niyan, high chance na hindi iikot yan or gagana yung HDD, kung gumana man, expect problems in near future)

Kung ako na rin mag recommend... i rather buy a self powered 3.5inch HDD... walang ka issue issue sa pag gamit diyan... kahit magdamagan mo pa magamit yan (tested by me). And of course 7200rpm HDD with high cache memory... hah.. ang bilis niyan kesa sa mga portable HDD.
