^Of course it follows that prerequisite. :slap:

I thought they would have already known about it since multiMAN has had support for NTFS drives since version 1.16.03 (since Feb '11, which is already a few months back!).

Just to serve as a visual guide for those who haven't configured (yet) their NTFS drives for use with multiMAN, watch this YouTube video tutorial. (credits to original video uploader)

-sample MKV movie (The Dark Knight, 11.1 GB) stored/located in usb external hard drive NTFS format

piliin mo lang yung MKV movie file using multiMAN's file manager. press X and then you will be greeted by the following message on your screen: "Caching file to internal temporary folder..."

after niya ma-cache na yung MKV movie, maglau-launch na automatically ang Showtime Media Player at magpla-play na siya.

it's as how deank (creator of multiMAN) explained it:
"If you launch a video from multiMAN from a NTFS drive it will cache it first and then launch Showtime. I also added bik/bink/flac/dts to the files you can press [x] over in file manager. Also a minor change to make showtime open the containing folder first and then play the video/audio so once the playback finishes user can browse/play other files from the same folder."

un nga po sir eh, nasundan ko naman kung papano i-config ung usb.cfg, na copy ko naman at na edit ng tama sa notepad yung product id at vendor id ko.. and i closed and saved it,

pagdating ko naman sa multiman file manager, hindi ko naman makita sa loob ng harddrive ko yung file na usb.cfg, :( :weep: eh dun sa video sa youtube nag aapear yung kanyang usb.cfg

then stock nako dun, hindi ko na po alam ang gagawin, wala po kayang much easier way?.. or maybe hindi lang talaga supprted yung HDD ko, transcend and buffalo po yung hdd ko eh.. thanks po mga sir!

/dev_usb000 yung path ng sinaksak mong thumb drive. nandiyan yung edited USB.CFG file mo.


once nasa file manager ka na ng multiMAN, navigate ka lang sa path na ito:

/dev_hdd0/game/BLES80608/USRDIR

diyan mo ilalagay edited USB.CFG file.:)

Mga master nag download kasi ako ng GUITAR HERO 5 then nung lalaruin ko na mic error daw mag connect daw ako ng headset or mic kaya lang hindi ko alam saan ikakabit pa help naman panu ko siya malalaro :thanks:

sir yan po ba ang directory ng latest na multiman?.. thanks po sir! ttry ko po! ang problem lang nga po kasi, hindi ko po makita sa multiman file manager, sa hdd ko po yung mismong file na usb.cfg thanks po sir! ttry ko nalang po ulit!

1. hindi pa configured yang NTFS external hdd mo, di ba? so hindi made-detect yan ng multiMAN (i.e., file manager) vis-a-vis PS3.
2. di ba may edited USB.CFG ka na, kamo? nasaan yon? nasa NTFS formatted external hdd mo? hindi mo pa puwedeng gamitin yang drive mong yan as a "medium" para i-copy o i-transfer yung USB.CFG to the mentioned directory/path of your PS3 internal hdd. kaya nga doon sa instruction sa video tutorial ay FAT32 thumb drive (or any extra external hard drive na FAT32) ang gagamitin mo para magawa yon.


anyway, an alternative (and easier) way to do it is just FTP the USB.CFG file to your PS3. this way you can just copy-paste/drag-drop the USB.CFG file to the /dev_hdd0/game/BLES80608/USRDIR directory of your PS3 using your computer.:)

ahh.. i see sir, gets ko na yung mali ko.. dapat pala at first naka fat 32 muna gagamtin ko to configure, nirerekta ko na kasi agad eh, naka ntfs format kasi yung ginagamit ko.. thanks you po sir! and multiman 2.05 plang po gamit ko, penge naman po ling ng 2.06.04.. thanks sir!

AYUN...:slap: kaya nagtataka ako bakit sinasabi mong "hindi ko makita yung USB.CFG sa file manager ng multiMAN...", hehehe!:D

nag upgrade na ako int 3.60 para lang malaro BD game ko na infamous 2
 
uhmm mga sirs.. balak ko kasi bumili ng ps3 next month.. my question is.. may update na ba na pede makalaru thru online pag jailbreak ang ps3 mo?? habol ko kasi is online play.. (sf3rdstrike upcoming SFxTK and UMVC3..) thanks!

wala pa.. :) buy ka na lng legit, 3 games lang naman pag-aadikan mo.
 
mga sir kailan kaya magiging playable ang disgaea 4 sa 3.55? o pwede pa kaya yun? 3.66 ata required nya na FW eh

ask ko na din mga sirs, nagtanung ako kanina sa isang store, sa SM, hmm 160GB is 18kPhp.. jailbreak na daw, then pupunuin ng games..

reasonable ba?
 
^ sir try mo search sa tipidpc.com dami doon ngbebenta bnew slim 320gb- 15k-17k, kung di ka naman mapili like 2nd hand around 10k-13k..

hmmm, so pag najailbreak na ba ps3 mo, wala na siyang way para maibalik sa OFW to play online?
 
^ 3.55ofw po kasi ung pde majailbreak sir.. tapos 3.70ofw ung latest para makapagonline, kpg ng-update ka nito, may isang paraan lang para bumalik ka sa 3.55ofw (using progskeet, e3 flasher etc.. pero wala pa satin ang ganyan..)
