pag wala ka ng makitang ganung model yun can use ODE hardware yan para ma-emulate yung optical drive ng ps3 para makapag laro ng backup games. Sang bansa ka po ngayon sir?

yung sa may praxis na column 3.55 pababa is jailbreakable, ibig sabihin you only need software to jailbreak it.

To make things clear

1. Only ps3 with models CECh etc. with model number 2.5K series pababa ang pwede i.jailbreak. Meaning yung mga mga SLIM models later up to those latest ps3 SUPER SLIM are not jailbreakable OR DOWNGRADE ABLE but can use Optical Drive Emulator (ODE) para maka paglaro ng back up or downloaded games.

2. Ps3 can only be jailbreak if the firmware version is 3.55 pababa.

3. If your model is pasok sa condition 1 and 2 mag hanap ka lang ng cfw like rebug or habib cobra ang latest cfw is 4.75 and 76 respectively . and update it, para majailbreak..keep in mind na dapat walang cd/dvd sa drive tray or hindi ka connected sa internet as this installs ofw not cfw, kasi pag nagkamali ka..untog mo na ulo sa pader..

3. If your Ps3 is pasok lang sa condition 1, which means yung firmware mo is mas mataas sa 3.55, you need to downgrade by using hardware flasher. Wala pong ibang paraan. Kasi kahit ngayon po, walang jailbreak ang OFW 3.56 up to latest firmwares. kung meron man nagsasabi na may jailbreak na check your sources..these are my sources www.psx-scene.com and www.ps4news.com if your still in doubt,pwede mo din itry mismo sa unit mo yung jailbreak and post us a pic and tell us kung gumagana pa ba unit mo.

4. Once your unit is back to 3.55 ,only then you can update using CFW to jailbreak your unit.

5. If your unit was previously jailbroken and mistakenly updated it to OFW, you need to use hardware flasher para dun then back to condition 4. Hardware flasher services are usually in greenhills,malls or you can check other areas. share the info if you have.

Reminders

1. Set your auto disc start to off. (may cases gagamit ka or nakabili ka ng bagong blue ray game and may gumalaw ng unit mo taz na press ang update. patay ang jailbreak mo)

2.. Do not connect to internet pag mag update. Play it safe.

3. Wag maglagay ng disc sa disc tray pag mag update Kasi pag nangyari yun, untog mo na ulo mo sa pader. ok?

3. Wag mag update ng mag update, wait muna sa mga ps3 sites kung ano feedback whether stable o hindi yung cfw na gagamitin mo.You have been warned so its your own fault kung nabrick unit mo.

nope, parang nag upgrade ka lang sir, handa mo lang usb stick mo with cfw mo. do not put any blue ray game into your drive.Turn off your connection, Keep in mind na kung anong firmware version ang gamit mo ngayon dapat yun din ang same firmware version na nasa usb stick mo pag format.multiman can be installed after mo mareformat yung ps3 mo. Yung multiman can be installed by copying yung pkg file tapos lagay mo lang sa root ng usb mo, then insert sa ps3 taz go to install package files or something like it,hanapin mo yung multiman at install mo. One thing, you can also upgrade your ps3's hard drive if you want, kung short ka ng space try considering that option. I'm using 1 tera byte sata (laptop hard drive ) and its worth it.

yup,need i.install sir physical drive ang pinaglalagyan ng cfw hindi flash memory ng ps3. Pwede ka mag format sir, walang problema pag install ng multiman, just remember wag mag lagay ng blue ray game or naka connect sa internet, gooluck

Basic Requirements for JAILBREAKING

General Rule

PS3 unit with at least Official Firmware 3.55 and below, beyond 3.55 (e.g. 3.56) then the unit is not Jailbreakable.


OVERVIEW OF PS3 JAILBREAK

PRO/s

1. Enable to run Homebrews and other 3rd Party Progmrams
2. Run back-up games
3. Somehow spare your Blu Ray drive since most of the time you game will run either on external or internal hard disk. (Prolong Blu Ray Drive lifespan)
4. Theoretically has a faster loading time since the games are directly boot from internal or external hard disk.
5. Generally cheaper ( Arrrrr!)

CON/s

1. No PSN access
2. Basically you will always be left behind in terms of features that the Official firmware has/have since you have to be at least one step behind the OFW.
3. Need some technical knowledge and understanding of the system


KMEAW'S 3.55 CUSTOM FIRMWARE (Tutorial & Guide)

First and foremost I don't take any credit from this Custom Firmware, I'm just sharing my thoughts and knowledge on what are the precautions to take note and provide a step by step procedure on how to install the CFW.


Basic Requirement/s

-Your unit must be in Official 3.55 Ofiicial Firmware so if you're on 3.50 OFW and below (e.g. 3.42 , 3.41 ) you will have to update your system to OFW 3.55.

-Avoid any electrical shortage or instability during the update as it might interrupt during the installation that could lead to bricked system.

-Flash Disk on FAT32 format

Installation

Download the CFW HERE

Make all the necessary folder on your Flash Disk http://asia.playstation.com/resources/get/9193fee7f80f78213e5ff34f935101f010d7896b

Paste the downloaded CFW inside the UPDATE folder


Update Procedure

1. Insert the storage media or USB device. that contains the update data in the PS3 system.


2. From the home menu, select (Settings) > (System Update), and then press ok

3. Select [Update via Storage Media], and then press the ok button.
The system automatically searches for and finds the update data saved on the storage media or USB device.

4. Start the update data.
Press the ○ button to start the update data. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the update. You can delete the update data from the storage media or USB device after the update has been successfully completed.

* Do not turn off the PS3™ system or remove storage media or USB device during an update. If an update is cancelled before completion, the system software may become damaged, and the system may require servicing or exchange.

wala pong jailbreak ang mga model na yan. yung jailbreakable models ay cech 2.5k pababa lang po. yung mga models mo gaya ng super slim ,need ka po ng optical drive emulator (ode) hardware gaya ng cobra ode.

pede ijailbreak yang model ng ps3 na yan. PERO dapat ang firmware version is 3.55. If mataas sa version 3.55 ,need mo ng hadrware flasher downgrade para ibalik yung firmware version sa 3.55. Tsaka pa lang makaka pag install ng any CFW version ex, habib or rebug..
