punta ka sa greenhills, check mo malls for downgrade services,,para madowngrade at ma jailbreak uli unit mo
may mga guides po tau dun sa youtube regarding downgrades, pero need mo ang HARDWARE FLASHER DEVICE. Binibili po yun or may mag oofer ng services like sa malls..hindi po pede software downgrade kac na block na po yung access ng software at kailangan buksan uli yung unit mo, para gamitan ng HARDWARE FLASHER para ma downgrade uli.

once updated to higher firmware ,you can only go back to 3.55 (jailbreakable firmware) using hardware flasher.
To make things clear
1. Only ps3 with models CECh etc. with model number 2.5K series pababa ang pwede i.jailbreak. Check links sa baba for more info on ps3 jail-breakable and downgrade-able models. yung mga mga SLIM models later up to those latest ps3 SUPER SLIM are not jailbreakable OR DOWNGRADE ABLE but can use Optical Drive Emulator (ODE) para maka paglaro ng back up or downloaded games.
2. Ps3 can only be jailbreak if the firmware version is 3.55 pababa.
3. If your model is pasok sa condition 1 and 2 mag hanap ka lang ng cfw like rebug or habib cobra ang latest cfw is 4.78 respectively . and update it, para majailbreak. check links for the files and video tutorials sa baba..keep in mind na dapat walang cd/dvd sa drive tray or hindi ka connected sa internet as this installs ofw not cfw, kasi pag nagkamali ka..di mo na majailbreak yung ps3 mo at magiging official firmware lock ng sony, to revert it back sa jaibreakable case eh need mo ng gumastos para mag pa downgrade ng unit mo..kaya untog mo na ulo mo sa pader..
4. If your Ps3 is pasok lang sa condition 1, which means yung firmware mo is mas mataas sa 3.55, you need to downgrade by using hardware flasher. Wala pong ibang paraan. Kasi kahit ngayon po, walang jailbreak ang OFW 3.56 up to latest firmwares. kung meron man nagsasabi na may jailbreak na check your sources..these are my sources www.psxplace.com , www.psxhax.com and www.ps4news.com if your still in doubt,pwede mo din itry mismo sa unit mo yung jailbreak and post us a pic and tell us kung gumagana pa ba unit mo.
5. Once your unit is back to 3.55 ,only then you can update using CFW to jailbreak your unit.
6. If your unit was previously jailbroken and mistakenly updated it to OFW, you need to use hardware flasher para dun then back to condition 4. Hardware flasher services are usually in greenhills,malls or you can check other areas. share the info if you have.
Reminders
1. Set your auto disc start to off. (may cases gagamit ka or nakabili ka ng bagong blue ray game and may gumalaw ng unit mo taz na press ang update. patay ang jailbreak mo)
2.. Do not connect to internet pag mag update. Play it safe.
3. Wag maglagay ng disc sa disc tray pag mag update Kasi pag nangyari yun, untog mo na ulo mo sa pader. ok?
3. Wag mag update ng mag update, wait muna sa mga ps3 sites kung ano feedback whether stable o hindi yung cfw na gagamitin mo.You have been warned so its your own fault kung nabrick unit mo.

Ngayon kasi 4.78 na latest na version so need mo magupgrade ng cfw mo sa 4.78 kung gusto mo maaccess ung PSN, OR KUNG DI KA COMFORTABLE MAGHANAP KA NG SPOOFER NA 4.78 gagana na yan, update ka dito pag di padin gumana, google mo lang spoofer 4.78 pag kaya mo naman magupgrade ng cfw, backread ka dito may guide si merxis.

panu malaman kung anung cfw ka? kasi 4.78 n sya kaso gusto ko mag rebug kaso meron pa yata akong extra step n gagawin? wala kasing naka lagay na name ng cfw pag nag boot ps3 lng talaga wala kasi yung option n papalitan yung x at o button dun wala kasing rebug toolbox

wala pong safe way mag online sa psn..lahat po may possibility...nasa sau un if gusto mo mag online..keep in mind yung mga steps at precautions..para di ka mag mukhang tanga at maban.

salamat sa advice
Mga sir balak ko na mag upgrade ng cfw ko since 4.75 balak ko sana mag 4.78 rebug. Kaso lang hindi ko alam kung ano pipiliin ko sa cex or dex version since first ko at hindi ko alam kung cfw ako wala kasi nakalagay. Deretcho na ba ako sa pag flash ng 4.78 rebug no need to downgrade ?
Tsaka meron ba tayong tutorial sa pag iinstall ng fan utility ?

nope, not possible..pero if you like ,may ode hardware po na available.

1. dex ps3 are units sent to developers not for sale at retail store..it means cex po yan malamang.
2. yup ,you can directly upgrade cfw to 4.78 rebug. no need for downgrade back to 3.55
Hello mga masters, at this moment, kaka upgrade ko lang ng firmware ko from REBUG 4.76 to 4.78.2 REX. And i noticed after ilang minutes lang, ambilis uminit ng PS3 ko at yung fan nya sobrang lakas, wala naman po ako issue dati before ako ang upgrade at yung nasa 4.76 CEX REBUG pako, pwede bako mag downgrade to 4.76? BTW im using fat model 40gb po. salamat sa makaka tulong.

pede ka mag downgrade using rebug downgrade tools, or rogero downgrader. version ng multiman mo? update ba un?
check mo muna to, try changing settings..one thing,air conditioned room ka ba naglalaro?

Salamat po. 
naglalaro ako ng games sa ps3 tru external hdd.. tapos nagffreeze ung game. as in stop ball. nasa ext hdd ba ung prob o sa console
