Newly owner lang ako ng ps3 JB yung nabili ko.

Ang meron lang dun is multiman na loader ng games nakakapag laro ako gamit yun nka install yung mga games sa internal memory

nakikita ko sa system info is.

4.76 firmware
7.20 cobra compatible

Gusto ko malaman kng anong cfw gamit ko ngayon at pano ko sya iuupdate sa latest. pag inoppen ko ung PS3 yung logo lng lumalabas walang sinasabi na Rebug or Habib kaya clueless ako.

Gusto ko mag update sa 4.80 rebug at iupdate na din multiman ko in latest version prehas para makapag laro NBA 2K17 nbsa ko kasi na yung new release games eh gagana lang sa 4.80 cfw may ibang way naman daw pag lower version ang firmware eboot param tawag kaso di ko alam gawin.
di ko din alam kng kng CEX or DEX ang unit ko so di ko alam kng sa pang unit anong unit yung iddownload kong cfw update.

1. sa dashboard mo ba, yung sa may multiman na column ,walang nakalagay na webman ?or rebug toolbox?..

2. If wala, ok lang yan, hindi naman problema yan , mag download ka lang ng cfw., i suggest rebug kasi kasama din si habib sa gumawa nun.
check mo rebug.me sa cfw nila , you also need to download rebug toolbox..multiman 4.80 (optional if gagamit ka pa din nito) check links sa baba.

3. How to update, may link ng videos sa rebug website,but to give you a summary, example rebug cfw

a. Once you downloaded the cfw (file size around 200+ mb), rename that file to PS3UPDAT.PUP , download mo din yung rebug toolbox at multiman
b. get a FAT32 formatted USB, gawa ka ng folder with folder name UPDATE, and copy the file to that folder. yung rebug toolboxat multiman copy mo lang sa usb.

ex.

x:\PS3\Update\PS3UPDAT.PUP
x:\rebug_toolbox.pkg
x:\Multiman.pkg

c. Turn on your ps3 and insert your usb, tignan mo na walang nakaload na blue ray drive game at dapat hindi ka nakaconnect sa internet.
d. punta ka sa dashboard, taz system settings--> system update --> Storage media
e. After natapos yung update, punta ka uli sa dashboard at go to install package, install mo yung rebug toolbox
f. pag natapos mo na yung ma install, go to rebug toolbox --> settings ang click mo yung enable cobra, enable ps2,
g. yung old multiman mo.,just delete it, once deleted, go to install package again and install your latest multiman,congratz tapos na.


Else if ayaw mo mag update ng system mo you can try to use updated multiman, it can patch your game to your current cfw version. else pag hindi gumana,
you can use ps3iso tools, check links sa baba. I'm using this tool to make iso for my games. pede din xa gamitin to patch certain games to lower cfw version.
i think basa basa nalang and watch the tutorials.

HINDI MO KAILAN NG DEX!!, retail unit,yung unit na nabibili sa market are all cex, yung dex are for those developers na gumagawa ng homebrew programs to test on ps3.
Karamihan sa features ay nasa rebug toolbox na., besides hindo mo need kalikutin yung dapat hindi kalikutin, else sumablay ka., iyak ka nalang.

Ok na sana na rread na kaso yung rebug na iniinstall ko is corrupted daw nag try na ko ng ibat ibang rebug pup ayaw tlga tama naman MD5 naiinis na ko hahaha.

Ilang beses ko na po na experience yan, what i did sa case na yan is to go to safemode ng ps3. Check this link, u need a usb cable to connect ps3 controller to ps3. select mo system update. Else you could also try using other cfw.

Ang lala ng nangyari ni try ko to knina madaling araw di nababasa pup file dun sa usb pag nka safe/recovery mode yung PS3 tpos nung ni on ko ng normal nag corrupt daw yung system file edi restore ako ang nangyayari umaabot ng 100% kaso di nag rerestart ung ps3 black screen lang. dinala ko sa technician nag try ng ibang HDD ung ps3 ko nag hahanap ng 5.0 or higher update ni try ung 4.80 ayaw pa din. so kinailangan syang i downgrade nung ni downgrade nag stuck flasher 98% so may issue daw hdd ko sa silent downgrade gnwa nila mabalik lang sa jailbrakable version naayos naman nilagyan na lang ng 4.78 ferrox at updated multiman pra malaro yung NBA2K17 masaklap dito yung 500gb ko na full of games eh nwla ng parang bula ang sakit pa sa bulsa ng bayad. thanks pa din sir atleast ok n ngayon bawal na daw ako mag update unless mgplit ako ng HDD haiz.

i see, that is sad to hear.. anyway technician sila opinion nila yun., tanong ko lang po, sa kwento mo, bat parang nawala ang jailbreak?kasi sabi mo pinalitan yung hard drive,di pa din reason yun para mawala ang jailbreak, Nag upgrade din ako mismo gumawa sa unit ko g hard drive from 160 gb to 1 TB. hinanap lang is yung firmware version na last ko na install,

CFW 4.30 pa gamit ko dati, update to rogero 4.46, pero sa two units before i updated it, downgrade ko muna back to 3.55 version, kasi need ko iactivate yung qc switch para walang error in anycase na manyari, ang result po nito ay total wipe out yung lahat ng laman ng hard drive.medyo mabusisi, nung sa mga newer cfw, ang sabi nila no need, but they also said may risk pa din. so far sa dalawang units na un,makailan beses din ako stuck sa pag update.80 or 90 percent ayaw mag tuloy ang update, restart lang ako ng process ng pag downgrade then update sa lates cfw. never ko din talaga maisip na bawal mag update pag di nagpalit ng hard drive.

nung mag black screen ba, di ka na makapasok sa recovery mode?it means nag soft brick?.iilang beses na ako nag update at downgrade ng dalawang ps3 units, dalawang beses na din nawala jailbreak ng ps3 ko ,una ako mismo nagkamali nung mag update ako na may tekken 6 blue ray game sa drive nakasalang, pangalawa yung minsan ko dahil din nag update para malaro ang nba 2k16. nag connect sa internet dinownload,ayun flasher din. yun lang kasi ang way mabalik ang jailbreak version.

Pero to say na need mo mag palit ng HDD to upgrade, kalokohan naman advice ng technician. Everytime mag upgrade ka po may risk po, pero to say need mag palit ng HDD.now ko lang narinig yan. hay sad to hear., pero nafrustrate ako dun sa nangyari sau. even if di guman yung recovery mode sakin, pede ko pa din idowngrade using rebug or rogero downgrader. Hindi ko kinailangan ng technician para gawin yun,only to read sa forums at take that risk.
