Requirements:

ADB Driver

Kingo App for One Click Root Software

MTK Droid Root & Tools v2.4.8 for CWM

Process:
1. Install ADB driver.
2. Install Kingo App software.
3. Enable USB debugging of android phone.
4. Run Kingo app, then Insert the phone to pc
5. Follow instruction of kingo app for rooting. See Reference . Click Here
6. Then, u can test if success using Root Checker

CWM :
1. Install MTK Droid tools
2. Insert phone to pc using usb.
3. If yellow color, press root
4. The follow instruction to for recovery,backup See reference Click Here

To boot ng Recovery mode, Hold Power and Volume +/up

nabrick ko kc yung one touch magik eh nagha2nap ako ng file para mareflash yung phone ko, ayaw kc magboot, LOL

mga boss pahelp po sadyang matagal po ba o may mali lang po sa cp ko, tinatry ko po iupdate ung system update ng alcatel OT soleil ko via wifi pero hindi na po natatapos hangang 99% lang po umabot na po ng 30mins o higit pa. stock na lang po lagi sa 99% ung system o ung firmware update. pahelp naman boss may link po ba na madadownloadan ng system update ng soleil? para iupdate ko na lang po manually. hindi na ako gagamit ng wifi kasi lagi nakastock 99% yung DL eh. salamat po mga boss

Mga sir, I'm a newbie when it comes to android, (this is actually my first android phone). Although I've done jailbreaks sa iOS and flashing sa mga Nokia Symbian so mejo may experience ako when it comes to that. Ano po bang advantage ng pag roroot ng phone especially dito sa One Touch Soleil?

Makakapaginstall ba ako ng stock android OS sa phone na to? and kailangan ko ba sha iroot para makapaginstall ng "cracked" apps?

Salamat po sa mga sasagot. Mejo wala lang talaga ako idea sa benefits ng pagroroot..

Maraming salamat sir! Ayan nagkaron tuloy ako ng new question, may custom ROM na ba ang soleil? Yung sa Nokia kasi kaya ako naghackmpara maginstall ng CFW (custom firmware) para maalis yung bloatware, sa iOS naman e para makapaginstall ng cracked apps haha.

Pwde na pala maginstall ng cracked apps sa android kahit hindi pa nakaroot?
