probably the ClockWorkMOD Recovery is still the most widely used.. Though an alternative is making waves-- the TWRP.... But it depends on the custom ROM you are using as the developer of the said custom rom will tell you what recovery program to be installed...

Patulong sir. bakit kapag nag iinstall ako ng kernel via cmd at flash tool nakalagay " the device must be rooted first" eh rooted naman na ung xperia sola ko.
di tuloy ako makapag install ng custom rom.
