This Facebook Group is here to show Capcom that the Megaman Legends 3/ ロックマンDASH 3 Project is still supported by its Fans, despite the Project's Cancellation. In addition to sending a message, feel free to post any photos or artwork of the project here to save them for posterity's sake, including anything that you personally contributed to the Devroom.
Please keep the material on this page tasteful, however. Just because we're protesting Capcom's actions, that doesn't mean that we have to be jerks about it.

here's a "Fun Fact"
Megaman Legends / Rockman DASH is the LAST in the Mega Man Universe' TIMELINE
here's an Illustration:
Explanation:
From Mega Man Battle Network / Rockman .EXE (Alternative Mega Man Universe): If Dr. Light goes into Robotics, he never meets Lan's Nameless Grandmother and Classic Mega Man (Rockman) begins.
Mega Man Classic: Mega Man Classic ends leaving Mega Man & the rest of the Casts (Proto Man, Roll, Rush, Beat, Eddie etc..) Dead.
Mega Man X: Mega Man X finishes with Zero sealing himself away at his ending of X6, sometime after Command Mission.
Mega Man X8: Zero comes back to beat back Omega with X, ending the Elf Wars, then promptly seals himself away again.
Mega Man Zero: Zero awakens at the beginning of his own series with the help of Passy and Ciel, and finally stays dead for more than ten minutes after burning up with Ragnarok.
Mega Man ZX: Then ZX comes along and half-revives X, Zero, Sage Harpuia, Fighting Fefnir, Fairy Leviathan, and Hidden Phantom.
After ZX is a gap in the Robot Timeline between the events of Megaman ZX Advent
Megaman Legends: and now... The Misadventures of Tron Bonne starts, which is a PREQUEL to the first Megaman Legends game.
During this approximately 7 Millenia gap, Elysium is created as a Utopia and the Humans that don't go to this Utopia and are left on Earth are somehow Eradicated.
This event, as cataclysmic as it would have to be to kill all the humans, is probably what floods the Legends-series world. Since all of the humans that didn't go to Elysium are dead because of this event, the humans that are left in space create more people and send them to Earth, for whatever reason. If I had to guess, it would be to repopulate and reconstruct the planet so that those left in space could return to their old home, but that is just speculation.
So, the humans that were on earth are replaced by the 'Carbons', where their population is, from there on, maintained by an administrative system that is put in place between the control centers on 'Terra' and the Main Control of Elysium. After this system is set into place, something happens and the true humans on Elysium die off one by one until true reproduction is no longer possible and the last human eventually dies. The Master, or this last male human, orders for his closest friend, the highest ranking Purifier of Elysium, to destroy the system that exists to suppress and kill off the Carbons, which live freely and happily, rather than in a repressed and formal society. Whatever his reasons in doing this are, nobody could know for sure. Maybe the system that originally was meant to help aid the growth of the civilizations on Terra by making sure that they didn't expand beyond their resources or that diseases were terminated before they could spread, became oppressive and confused, just killing entire civilizations without much reason. That Purifier does this last wish well and damages the system beyond repair, but also damages himself beyond repair, requiring him to 'reset' his biological systems and revert to a infant stage of growth and lose his memory. He is then found in a ruin by Prof. Barrel and this begins the events in Megaman Legends.
Original Mega Man Classic => Mega Man X => Mega Man X Command Mission => Mega Man Z => Mega Man ZX => The Misadventures of Tron Bonne => Megaman Legends 1 => Megaman Legends 2 (Cliffhanger Ending)

Gaming communities... "Like this page to show your support". "Join the cause to bring <insert game here> to <insert country here>". Facebook has given gamers a stage to show their love and support for unreleased/cancelled games. The question is... do the companies care? Read on to hear about some current initiatives and successes of the vocal minority.
Many of you may have heard about Operation Rainfall. It is a fan-driven campaign that recently had some success in the gaming industry. They wanted three games released in the U.S. and now two of them are on their way. So it gets gamers to think... if we yell loud enough will someone hear us and actually give us what we want? In Operation Rainfall's case, the answer is "yes".
So one group was successful... can anyone else replicate their success? If you are a frequent visitor to LGOD you may have read about Capcom teasing the 3DS community with a game called Mega Man Legends 3. Tease is the proper term because the minute Keiji Inafune left they pulled the plug on the development and provided ridiculous reasons such as "the game was not up to the standards they have envisioned". Maybe it was true, but with Mega Man's mass exodus from the gaming world, one can't seem to think that Capcom is putting the Blue Bomber on a hiatus. That got some gamers upset. A game that they were anticipating was pulled out right from under them without any real justification. What's a gamer to do in this situation? In the past, if a game wasn't released after it was announced it would just fade away into oblivion and would never be heard from again. Games like Disaster: Day of Crisis and Project H.A.M.M.E.R. But now with the power of Facebook, gamers don't just get angry... they get organized.
One group in particular really wants Mega Man Legends 3 released so they formed the Facebook community "100,000 Strong for Bringing Back Mega Man Legends 3". Even though the community is currently shy of its 100,000 goal, it has brought folks from all over the world together in hopes of seeing the Blue Bomber in portable 3D for the first time ever. The question is, what is Capcom's real reason for canceling the game and can any number of fans change their mind? My thought is that it can't hurt to try... and hey finding other people with the same common interest is a welcome side-effect.
So no matter whose side you're on or whether you care about any of these games, you got to feel good that gamers can gather around a cause and make an impact on whether a game is released or not. This is a fairly new concept in the gaming world so it makes you wonder. If gamers ask for a game to be released, the company releases it and no one buys it, does this affect future campaigns? If no one buys Xenoblade Chronicles, will Nintendo do gamers anymore favors? If Xenoblade Chronicles is successful, will Capcom give into their fans to try to replicate that success? Do I have to support and buy all the games that people campaign for so I might get a game released that I want in the future? There is an age old saying that should be inserted here... be careful what you wish for. We all want games to come out but if we ask for too many and not enough people buy them, companies might stop doing us favors. But you can't help to support the games you love... so in the meantime keep on doing what you're doing Internet. -Murph LiveGEEKOrDie
